I am perfectly happy with the 2 that I have.....both Czech working-line GSDs.  I am totally sold on them.

Also, I could not figure out what in the structure of the dog in the pedigree you posted, were you unhappy about, and actually wanting to change that to a slopey backed showline structure .?  What mess around with a good thing and seek out something less functional ?  Truly puzzling !

Redsable : Beautiful dog RLHAR, great conformation, not for a WL, but for a German Shepherd.  That is the way they all should look IMNSHO

Absolutely agree.  Why downgrade a good thing with a caveat like "for a WL".  That is an excellent and fully functional structure for any GSD.

Yes I adore my GSDs. My boy is a clown and is a real 'lover' - never did I imagine a male GSD (he is my first, I usually have girls) could be such a gentle and kind soul. He has always been ruled with an iron paw by the girls LOL. My girl is my shadow and has a direct link to my soul, we speak without words. We have achieved so many things together and still do, she has such a zest for life, fun and action. I have always been proud of them, and felt safe when they are by my side.

She is now nearly 10 and my only disappointment is that she cannot be with me forever.

My first 2 GSDs were out of rescue.  When I worked from home and was down to one, I thought to myself "If GSDs out of abuse and neglect wind up being so good, I wonder what it would be like raising my own."  And that puppy just exceeded all of my expectations.  When I lost 2 young dogs to cancer that were to be the successors for Eischa and Galaxy, my heart was broken and I looked at all the other breeds.  But by golly, I could not switch and have another youngster making my home unsafe.

This is a magical picture of my 2 seniors taken in April 2012 by my friend Pam.  Eischa is in her 15th year of life and Galaxy in his 10th.
