what an experience.  Let me first say that vets who can't read xrays shouldn't be giving diagnosis.  Without going into detail my former vet gave me the worst possible diagnosis, not by understanding how to read xrays but by what she's read about the history of the breed.  I was f'in livid.  I insisted the xrays be sent to a radiologist who said the dog was fine just a soft tissue sprain and he'll get better on his own.  Crate rest and limit activity.  He's actually doing much better now, still favors his leg slightly but much better.  I'm looking for a new vet now more breed specific.  Thanks for everyones help and concern.
