lol@Bob and Bhaugh

Hans can get you a puppy that would be a good family pet.  Call and talk to him.
Not every dog born will be a high drive monster.  There are some that are good for being pets.

Bandit's photo is copyrighted by the photographer - that is, owned by the photographer.  The picture being replaced by the one on PDB is not "fixing the problem", moderator.  I own the picture, I requested that it is removed.  It can be replaced with one of the gorgeous dogs posted that belong to Alpine K9 and are stolen from his website or Jipo-Me's - or the OP can ask permission to use my photo and add the necessary information with it.  But at this point, I don't care anymore as proper id has been made for the picture.

For the future, since obviously even the mods don't understand copyright law - the photographer owns the pictures.  No matter who owns the dog, or the subject of the picture - and BHaugh there doesn't have to be a "stamp" on the picture - (that said, it IS signed by the photographer - that would be MY signature on it) -  the picture is automatically copyrighted and owned by the photographer.  Shared on this forum or not shared and stolen from a website - it is AGAINST THE LAW to use photographs without permission.  That includes you, moderator.  Shared on PDB does not mean owned by PDB.  Check copyright laws if you care to.

 Molly:

             The second one does look more natural, not as photo shopped on the top line near as much.

§ 107. Limitations on exclusive rights: Fair use40

Notwithstanding the provisions of sections 106 and 106A, the fair use of a copyrighted work, including such use by reproduction in copies or phonorecords or by any other means specified by that section, for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching (including multiple copies for classroom use), scholarship, or research, is not an infringement of copyright. In determining whether the use made of a work in any particular case is a fair use the factors to be considered shall include —

(1) the purpose and character of the use, including whether such use is of a commercial nature or is for nonprofit educational purposes;

(2) the nature of the copyrighted work;

(3) the amount and substantiality of the portion used in relation to the copyrighted work as a whole; and

(4) the effect of the use upon the potential market for or value of the copyrighted work.

The fact that a work is unpublished shall not itself bar a finding of fair use if such finding is made upon consideration of all the above factors.

Feel free to use my dog's picture here. He has more and higher titles/ratings, and a much better topline, better angulation fore and hind, better length and lay of shoulder, much better length and lay of croup, much, MUCH better gait...
Hell... Much better overall conformation than the first example anyway.

LMAO@Shelly!

I don't think it was necessary to appease Molly in spite of her peculiar objections, the OP used the photo within the Fair Use description.
