Returning to the thread

In contemporary usage, the word "freak" is commonly used to refer to a person with something unusual about their appearance or behaviour. - Wikipedia.

It can also denote a strong obsession with a particular activity. - Wikipedia

On the above basis the dogs refered to in the original thread could be described as freaks.  Many on this forum could be described as GSD freaks,  and some on this forum could be desribed freaking hecklers.

Google Nefaria, Google!!  I didnt have to google, I was already aware of the meaning of the word Nefarious, so just grabbed my Universal Dictionary in order to post the full definition. No hadnt heard of Count Nefaria but if as you say he was a Super Villain I think more makes my case , than yours, dont you agree?

You say your cronies cant even spell your name right Wildmore, well for your information you spelt it wrong Nefaria, it is spelt Wildmoor (double O , no E, get it?), as in Wuthering Heights,  not Oliver Twist !!  Humour, get it? No? Guess its another of Bazza's 'Whooosse's then. lol

The entity Saratoga I was addressing in the quote you made above is nameless, i.e. has no real identity on this board.
As for my insulting someone, I was not aware one could insult trolls? It is my understanding that one can only personally insult an actual (identifyable) person, or had that fact escaped you?

As I had said I had never read the previous thread, so could only take what I read on this thread and this Sarotoga entity was saying vile things about an actual person on this board whose real name I am aware of and not from knowing her personally but from her previous postings on this board, all of which have proved her (IMO) to be very knowledgeble and fair. The complete opposite in fact to my first encounter of the ramblings , in other words drivel from the anon entitiy Saratoga. I went about explaining what this unidentifiable troll appeared not to understand, the reason why white is not an acceptable colour for a GSD. I was not aware any of you came from OZ (presume thats Aussie and not the Wizard country), but if that is where you come from, since they introduced the WUSV system into their show world and breeding programme years ago, I guess there wont be many proper GSD enthusiasts who agree with you out there either.

I understand now why so many good people have abandoned this board. I am sure that certain people will be delighted to know that I am joining their ranks and my username will be disabled. When certain nasty characters decide to PM me, it becomes deeply unpleasant, and not something I choose to be involved in.

I have learned some interesting things in ‘discussion’ here, in fact, some of it was more of a revelation really. There are some very genuine, helpful people on the board, but they are a minority whose voices are usually drowned out by insults and so on. The behaviour of some on this forum has even challenged my long held belief that all ‘dog’ people are nice people. But you live and learn, even at my age.

I learned this week of the death, alone, in kennels of a beautiful shepherd (that I knew personally), who had sadly lived most of his 13 years in the rescue centre, although he was much loved by the kennel team and volunteers. He was failed miserably by people, and it puts into perspective where I would rather direct my energies. Adios.
