I also don't think the two dogs in the links look sable. They look like faded black and tan to me.

En France, j'ai une amie qui travaille sur la lignée TIMO. Elle produit ce qu'on appelle chez nous des "Fauves Charbonnés".

Ces chiens commencent a être appréciés par nos juges a cause justement de leur lignée maternelle (TIMO) qui manque à notre élevage.

Helen, I was born in Huntingdon (near you?), grew up in Leicestershire, went to Uni in Leeds then Aberystwyth, now my close family live in Scotland!! I have work contacts in Bristol...would love to see your dogs when I am next back...
