LOL It's killin' me too my friend :-) Very excited. You decide on the 1st name you mentioned to me? I  liked it. You can make his pedigree already if you want to. It's way easy!

by JasonL on 20 September 2009 - 04:09

 Which one? Ignacio or Ike?

Btw, my wife has banned me from talking about this pup (and his possible name) to her anymore - I guess it came up a few time too many in conversations lol.

Yes, The time does not pass by quick enough when you are waiting for a Pup.
When Izzy was born i was counting off the days one by one it drove my brother mad, I was going on like 3 weeks and two days or another time say the pups are 33 days old today he said they will not grow any quicker by counting the days, i said No'  but by tomorrow they will be a day older than today,
This coming Wednesday i am going over to see the Zasko Puppies and i will take a few Pic's of them i spoke to the breeder at the training club this morning, and i watched a son of Zasko working on protection, one of his own dogs in fact he did a good job, fast and a clean hard contact

Jason, LOL, you got banned!  I think my husband was getting tired of hearing about it too. But lately he has been spending a lot of time on the internet, reading pedigrees and different training articles. She will technically be HIS dog. Though you wouldn't know it with the way I always talk about her :-)
For the names I like Ignacio. Ike is cool too. You have to practice saying them a few times, or a lot. You may decide on one name and then when you see him think another name would fit him better. I've done that in the past too lol. They are just 9 days old and I think I have said INDI about 500 times. I've already even changed the original way I spelled it from INDY lol...

33 days old Steve. That had me falling on the floor, how funny!!! I'm doing the same thing. Trying to push the calendar forward.  Now, though I will be waiting for Wednesday to get here so I can look at the pictures. And I will be counting the 9 hour time difference. I am like a kid waiting for Christmas morning. It's almost Wednesday :-)

The Pups are 11 days old now. Indy sounds a good name spelt that way, but you have to add the whole kennel name to the first name to get it sounding the way you like
It takes time for the breeder to get the completed offical pedigree from the Belgian association, so does he not need the names you pick out very soon, or do you wait until the Pups are sent i do not know how it works sending Pups abroad,
The letter I is not a good one but mine call name izzy is easy but most times now she is called something else
At the Dog Club she is known as IZZY BITCH, this happened because she scratched a kid with her sharp claws when she first went to the club as a baby, the boy called her Izzy Bitch and it stuck, so everyone calls her that now she is growing up fast now just a little over 4 months old and a proper little madam she is too and she has started to change her teeth. I will try and get an up to date Pic of her today and post it on here, she is getting a bit of colour about her now
Steve

edited'  I was making the Pups out to be older than they are, i was in the pigeon loft cleaning out then it came to me what i had wrote down regarding there age so just came back in to correct it too early in the morning for the brain to work, not that is does much anytime of the day

ROFL..No soup for you, hehehe... When I come back to TX I am going to tell you that, ya know. By the way the breeder is coming to the US for a trial, I don't know if you saw that above. It's not TOO far from where you are. Would be worth the drive, even just as a spectator :-)

Steve,
When I got Galan I had to have the name before the tattoo guy went to breeder's. So probably within a few weeks.
On paper she will be Independence van het Basjes Huis. If they can fit all of that on one line :-) It certainly is a mouthful, but I like it. I'm sure she will be Independent too, so it should fit.
Izzy Bitch, hehe. In some of the pictures you sent of her I can see why that name stuck! A picture says a thousand words. I figured she would darken up some. I was looking at pictures of Glan from when he was about 6 months and he was very  light. Now at 2 years, 4 months, he has nice dark pigment. He is almost the spitting image of his sire. Let me show you. Keep in mind I can't "stack" a dog. He even turned around and stuck his tongue out at me! :-)

The time goes by to quickly when I get on here. I suppose I better get ready for work. Looking forward to the new pictures of Izzy. Have a good day :-)

Gee, those belgium boys don't kid around, do they?

Stacy, I did read that you said he is coming here. I'm going to have to find out when because I would love to go.
