Thanks for posting those pics of the Anrebri dogs...they are magnificent! Our local Police Dept. has an Anrebri bitch that has caught more than her share of trouble makers! She's amazing and worth her weight in gold!

I've always thought the picture of Uno Stadfeldt had the topline photoshopped in. It just has a bit too clean of an edge to it. It's unfortunate, b/c it makes him look odd.

Hans,
I have watched this video a few times and I see what you see. Also, it is sped up to make it look extra impressive but it is clear that he is a very nervoes dog and as long as he moves around the helper holding on he won't run. This was just a training video. I would love to see one of an actual trial with him.
My Frankie great grandchildren go to his daughter Emilka Anrebri (not Francesco) who was paired up with Nick Heilgenboesch for the Ch-litter Leryka.
I wonder how Francesco's sister is?
Melissa,
I would love to see new photos of your male! He looks very nice!
Christine,
I have seen another photo of Uno and he looks like a different dog on it. Now, if I could only remember where I have seen it. Probably on the German forum. If I find it, I post a link.

It's not often that you can compare mature littermates so kudos to the Anrebi kennel for having these videos avaliable

Lovely dogs and I'm sure they are excellent in structure for "real" - but many of the professional photos displayed here are obviously photoshopped, especially the toplines.

DDRShep,
I do not consider myself an expert but I have been around for a couple of years, or so.
With that being said, I still see the same nervoesness in Francesco but at least he stays with the helper in the front, once he releases. Frederica and Frajer are ok, normal protection work. I liked Frankie and Frank best. These two were overall calmer and there was a lot more control.
I don't know what kind of event that was but it is a lot different than what I am used to. The routine is pretty much the same as in a breed survey or Sieger Show protection work, except that we are not premitted to hold our dogs like that. We have to heel off leash and are not allowed to grab the collar. After two attempts, the dog would be disqualified.
It is common practice to "pump" a dog up on the sidelines. Dogs high in drive are less likely to leave a helper but they often exhibit lack of control, and when, there are dogs who generally have less obedience (and therefore lack of control) because they do not possess the necessary hardness to withstand that kind of pressure. An inexperienced person or newbie will not be able to evaluate this sufficiently from the sidelines, especially not from a video but it looks flashy when a dog jumps around and barks a lot and is speedy in general. For myself, I prefer the calmer and more controlled dogs, like Frank and Frankie in your examples. Did you notice that the black dog Frank was the only one who was heeled off leash, at the end?
Molly,
I am at work right now but will post a different Onyx photo to dispute that his professional one from Mendely was photoshopped.

Hi all
I have a small beef concerning this post.
A while back a showed a picture of my showline bitch, which some of you posters hear said that her top line was on the endge of being to extreme. I personally thought she was excellent, seeing she went best of breed in a CKC conformation class. Now hears my beef. The dogs bragged about here I would say have the same top line as my bitch. The working dogs in this post are said to be beautiful, but a showline with this top line are judged by most of the posters hear, to extreme. Dont get me wrong now,the picture hear of these working line dogs are beautifull, and well deserving of a v rating.

Hey Chris, this is the best I could do with a 7 year old photographer today. His front legs could be slightly more under him, and his head looking straight ahead.

Thanks Silbersee. I liked the sire the best. It's not unusual that exceptional dogs don't produce any single progeny that are better than them although it may pop up again in the grandprogeny. I liked the female, Frank and Frajer as well. You can see that Frank and Frajer have good nerves. The first son does not seem comfortable in the pocket although that could also be training. I'm not sure not knowing the dogs firsthand.
