I love the bi colour :)

It may sound silly to you people, but I hope that you get the feeling that the choice does not depend on the colour over anything else.

Colour is of the least importance, I just wanted to put it out there that I do not like the sable because a LOT of working kennels have those kinds of dogs.

My preference is the darker the better, everything from red/black to bi is fine with me, and I'm getting more used to the black although I'm not sure I would like to own a black dog

 How about Jabina in Denmark?
http://www.jabina.dk/a_engelsk/index_eng.htm  World class competitors and breeders.

Look at the current litter, they also have video of the pups.  I am confident that if you contact these people, and if they do not have what you are looking for,  they can help steer you in the right direction and might be familiar with good working line breeders  closer to you.

I am a "new" fan of Bi Colors :-) The more I looked the more I liked them. Here is a link to the pedigree of my new puppy. I personally like the conformation, color, and working ability of the parents. I also LOVE the pedigree.
I won't have her for a few more weeks, but feel free to pm or email me if this is a breeding you may be interested in. I can find out if there are any left available. The breeder is very well respected and if you are not interested in this litter, maybe we can help you find what you are looking for.

P.S. This is the second puppy I have imported from this breeder and have had absolutely nothing I don't like about the man as a breeder, trainer or person. He is very honest, upfront and helpful.

Escobar you asked this question on the list last winter and also before and were given similar answers.  Notice who is NOT answering you now.

Orchardhof.

I don't understand your comment, please explain.

Now I'm serious about importing, before I was simply checking for breeders.

I want to get into contact with a breeder and know him before purchasing puppy !

We are all going to have our favorites and they are going to vary by what we seek in a dog.  I am going to recommend Kirschental.  Beautiful dogs, extremely intelligent and intuitive and excellent health and temperament.  They are a bit "soft" compared to other lines but that is one thing I like about them.  I wouldn't personally recommend one for protection but they excel at herding, sport and serve as great family dogs.  I wouldn't trade my Kirschental for the world.

Like I said before, I feel the Kirchental dogs are way too roach backed and not at all good looking dogs.

I'm looking into more working dogs to finish IPO for an example

Did you check out that litter Jabina has that I linked you to?  I think the sire is a bicolor by the way.
CORRECTION!  He is not a bicolor but he's a blanket back and red and look at his pedigree:

and check out the mother of the litter's pedigree   http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/583319.html

Nice - to say the least!!!

I don't see the roach back in my female but I have seen it in some Kirschentals.  As for the sporting aspect though, Kirschental lines excel at SchH/IPO.  I think you need to do some better research in that regard  You would have known this had you done proper research.
