Sportguy,
Please put a link to your pedigree. There are certain west German dogs that were used and appear in many DDR dog pedigrees. They are all SZ now.

Nice pup you have there! Can I ask why her front legs are shaved? Good Luck with her!

Laughing so hard that my toddler is looking at me like I've totally lost it. Priceless, SSG!
Now crawl back in your hole and don't mess up this nice person's thread about their great new pup. Whatddya say, Pal?

Well SSG. You totally got screwed over as I cant find any DDR in that dog! Better get your money back, or better give us the breeders name! And for the ears, you might want to crop them so they stay up at least a little bit. The huge head and big muzzle hint towards good biting power, it should therefor provide for a lot of pleasure working it in the sport. However, be careful who you breed it too as there seems to be some tendency to liver color and you dont want to produce washouts....

Jag,
It looks like you have a really nice pup and you couldn't have found a person more nice, or, more honest than Jean to obtain a puppy from. You're lucky, you have two new friends!
As to the shots, take a look at this web site for some very valuable info regarding vaccines.
Be the leader in this area for your pup, don't let your vet dictate what you do when it comes to vaccines.

There is a lot of information on this web site, but, take your time and read it.
Pay very close attention to what types of vaccines to use and when they are used.
If he already almost died, I would consider not vaccinating anymore as an option.

Jag M,
I was at Jean's when your puppy was sick. She was very worried about him. I am glad that he pulled through.

Thanks all. On his 12 wk shot we gave him a shot of antihistimine and he did great.
