Hmm... goals for 2013

1. STP1, AD at the spring trial, finish CD title, CDX title, conformation rating in October at SE regional show and maybe IPO1 in the fall for Nero

2. BH, STP1 at the spring trial, conformation rating in October and we'll see how far along we are for IPO1 for Cera

Start school for myself in August (Again!)

Deja's IPO3, maybe regionals.  I am also breeding her when she comes into heat in March.  First litter (and my 4th generation)

Elena's IPO1 AD in the fall.  Then the breed survey.  She already has her SG so don't know if I'll bother showing her again for a possible V

Vala, not sure.  Maybe we will try for the IPOFH, but it sucks up so much land I am not sure if we will bother.

my goals are simple.  I have waited for my boy to mature and now we are finally about to hit the field with the piedmont schutzhund  club.  we have done tons of foundation work and so I want to knock out that BH and sch1....:)

Awesome! Those are really impressive goals everyone. Let's keep updating as we go! (I'm sure we will anyway) :-) my first IPO trial is at the end of March. Best of luck to you all!

Hey J, you going to be there tomorrow?? Looking forward to meeting you if you are :) It's been a long while since I've been,
but with school over for a bit, I'm finally free.

I'm pretty confident that we have a good focus-heel going now! Thats a big obstacle overcome, and she even does it happily LOL! I'd like to update our goal to a BH in the fall. :)

Our other dog gets so pissed when we're working though - how dare she get fed and not him! I may have to start doing something with him too so he feels included. BH on a shih tzu/yorkie? Stranger things have happened.... Thinking

Dawulf,
Just an idea, but my male Nero goes beserk whenever another dog is working so I use him as the long down dog while practicing
BH stuff with Cera and Cera in the long down while working Nero. Makes them both feel included and I don't have to listen to pissed
off doggies ha ha. I also do the same with the ball, and if Cera can stay in a down while another dog is chasing a ball, we're golden!
