CONTINUED: a little more in depth. Also, ask Pete; I warned him at least a hundred times about his "pack." He and his wife do a great job w/those dogs, and they are not easy dogs, and they are still YOUNG. I have no illusions that they are going to grow up w/out incident and get along famously their entire lives. Pete is already prepared and has taken proper steps to head off any serious problems. I am also only half an hour away and willing to help in any way at any time if they should have a problem. The way he and his wife live with those dogs is somewhat different than what most people do and what you've described you're looking to find, though. They run a tight ship; they don't just have a happy "pack" of dogs who lounge at their feet and follow them around all day.

THANK YOU CHRIS AND JENNI FOR YOUR FRANK INPUT AND ASSISTANCE.  YOU HAVE GONE BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY.

I don't think it's beyond the call of duty; our duty is to make sure each dog is properly placed so they stay where we put them and don't come to a bad end. Our duty to buyers is to make sure they get a lifelong companion and get what they paid their hard-earned money for. No one wins when a dog is improperly placed.

Jen,
thanks for clarifying my point. That is exactly what I was trying to convey.

GSDPack,
the female puppy is going to a dear and close friend of mine just outside of Boise who I am sure you have met in the past.

Myret,
I do not understand your question? I like him a lot and from my perspective he is a very nice dog. The OP here in this thread was interested in offspring out of him and had contacted me. Marin clicked well with my female but since I was unable to keep a puppy back due to lack of time, I want to have another litter by him. Dennis has one of my homebred girls in his kennel right now who he just titled to SchH3. She is not 2 years old yet, but once she is I would like to use Marin for her first litter (unless a different dog catches my eye, lol since I still have about 4 to 5 months). As to videos on Marin and how far he is in his competition career, I don't know (Marin is young and just turned 3 years old). You would need to contact Dennis yourself. http://www.tjaernshaget.de.
As you might now, there will be LGAs soon. We will see. His dog Dingo is handled and campaigned by another friend of ours.
