Honestly, I would not even worry about the dog. It is probably genetic but really who cares? I know a 4 year old dog that does this about half the time. I was never worried about it. I have other things to worry about. Yes I was a smart ass and yes....it was a stupid question.

Besides, there are some men that sit down to pee for one reason or another, that does not make them gay. It makes them either religious possibly a muslim, or not trying to pee all over the place when peeing in the dark. just sayin...

it still irks me when people don't use the words dominate and dominant correctly. yes, i'm just being a bitch. if people are going to use those words, i wish they would use them correctly, though.

LOL its like my bitch i named her Akiva thinking it ment protector in inuit well come to find out it was hebrew. i kinda felt it was ironic that s GSD has a hebrew name. ok im over it.

i still dont understand why someone care if their dog pees like a female. maby he is tired of peeing on his front feet like my boy XD be happy you have a german shepherd and enjoy it just because he squats meh. it saves furnature and plants

to the op it is not big deal as long as he performs? even if he was gay who cares as long as he can do what you bought him to do? my girl lifts her legs sometimes and everyone thinks she is a male. Friends laugh and say she is a lesbian etc..

bad guys wont be laughing when he is hanging onto their arms chomping down (i assume he is going to be your patrol dog?)

remeber how big a gsd has nothing to do with anything though the biggest gsd i ever saw was also the most submissive wimpy gsd I have ever seen as well.
