He was just asking about some direction and advice ! and as usual on this board .. some people have to to act like they are high and mighty !!  I'm not saying to sugarcoat anything ... but there is no reason to get nasty !!  As with anything in life ... you have to start somewhere.. 

You crossed about every line possible in that vid.  Could have done that better if you were trying.

Want advice? I watched the video around noon, but I only made it halfway through. In Obedience, if you are going to title a dog, you need to work on focus, first. The dog looks like a dog trained at the local grooming/boarding/training facility. You need to understand the rules of the sport you are going to tile in. Most of what you are doing is worthless and hindering the dog. If you do one more recall with a down or sit, that dog is going to become a snail. When he becomes a snail, you can use the fly swatter to gather his food. The dog is not motivated. You seem like an oldschool trainer from the 70's that thinks an "atta boy" is gonna cut it. Look at your recall. The dog is almost doing an army crawl with his ears back. That type of training might impress the neighbors, but a judge will eat you up.---------------------------As to the Protection work, you need to work with someone knowledgable. Watching 4 minute of the video makes me think this whole thing is a joke. That or you are making fun of this person by pretending to be him, posting his video. I mean, who uses a fly swatter? You couldn't grab a tree branch? If you are serious, why don't you hit a local shelter and train a dog that deserves a second chance?

Now your morals are in question $7000 sold $3500 sold? I say you start all over and try and stick to your story.

thats why i posted this people to get advise to get to the right aspects of it i have as much drive and will ass any dog on here i give it all i have and thank you guys for the negitive things you say it makes me drive harder and i see my mistakes threw ur negitivity and i will make it in traini9ng and now i have a good teacher the video is from when i first started three yrs ago and all that obediance was my work and the dog came from an abused home and i did good with him acuality i sold him for 7000 dollars to a good family so i have inproved and i will keep improving so if you guys are willing keep giving me help because i have learned alot thank you guy


i did have him on here for 3500 and then some one saw him and saw the work he was doing when he saw him and they offered it so i took it and i haven been watching movies on youtube i have been watching videos of acutal trainers that they made and sell my dog is high drive and so am i but now i dont have my dog so i am just looking for one that will help my training excperiance as well as get trained in the classes im taking with excperianced trainers thats all so eough about my dog lets give me training advise and all ok thank you

i dont know why everyone is givin joe negative comments i am in ireland ,dublin and am lookin for someone to work with some very high drivin dogs . i have 4 very good pups here and i wouldn be very experienced in shutz but i know these pups would be very good. they are grandaughters from tino vom felsenschlob very high drive and would love to get them working daily. would love to hook up with someone like joe but were too far apart so good luck joe hope everything works out for u

to be honest didnt watch the video till now just seen everyone giving joe a hard time i think eveyone that has intrest in our breed should be encouraged rather then slammed since everyone outside our breed cant understand what gsd are about. i am just looking for help cause i will admit i am out of my depp with the dogs i have. yes i can do all the sit stay all the handy stuff but i can see them burstin to track and bite .there only 5 months old now but want to start them early 

Like I said, go rescue a dog to train.
