For the record, according to the SV's database, Zara's HD ZW score is 73!! If Jantie is correct, that requires a leap of faith, IMO..

Whenever there are shady dealings, whydo the same names keep cropping up?

adopting the principles of sewer rats.
Dog1 you are wasting your time trying to reason with them.
They will only realise what they are doing on this thread, when THEY are the victims of allegations which have NO proof. They will be amazed and angry if some people think they are guilty of something completely unrelated to something they may have done, maybe many years before.

I consider a co-owner to a dog whose tail was broke to fix it proof enough, someone who was told by the breeder about the tail breaking like it was no problem and done all the time, and someone who was told to dye his dogs coat before going into the ring. he found it appauling, and so do I. I would not doubt it one bit about someone getting paid off, or a different dog being put on the table to improve a hip score. It all comes down to politics.
I know from experience it is heart breaking being a breeder, to have a pup who is beautiful and outstanding in everyway be born with a crooked tail or some other cosmetic problem (weak ears) and placing that pup into a pet ome, or removing it from your breeding program. Some people can't do that, they would rather fix the crooked tail, fix the poorly set ear on an otherwise near perfect animal, just to win in the showring and bring home that shiney new trophy...
same can be said about the dogs being sold as sch titled imports, and when they enter the country, they can't even perform a simple obed. routine. or the VA SCH3 males who run right off the field. these things are not hearsay.

A woman of killing the woman (spouse and mother of two teenagers) she shared the lover with, after she sabotaged her parachute after which she plunged to her death. (She got 30 years.)
A young man of killing both his parents and his sister, stabbed them in what was probably a drug related murder. (He got 26 years.)
In both cases there were no real proves, but both juries were convinced of the murders (by the circumstantial evidence - is that the correct word?) and judged the alleged murderers to be guilty beyond any doubt.
Same thing here:
insiders all know of the tailbreaking, the earcorrections, the certificates given away (sold) without dogs having left their kennels, etc.... Need I go on?
The Breed Value System, as I have time and time again proven, is not worth the paper it is written on. Fraud is being committed, and not by a few individuals.
As in this case, the fraud is being committed by the top-kennel people, SV-judges and their water carriers.
These people have no conscience, money and fame is the only thing that matters.
They will minimize the effects of HD, and even defend the breed value system as being the best in the world.
One doesn't need proof! Insiders will testify about the malpractises anytime and then it all sums up.
Now David, if you want proof, let's make an appointment and get together. We will x-ray Zara and take it from there!
