How did you lose your pictures?

Do you have a photobucket account?

My sister was here and we were transferring the thousands of pictures I have to an external hard drive..  Thought they all transfered, something errored and we thought it was fixed.  Checked the pics on the external drive, thought everything transfered and deleted and emptied my recycle bin.. Poof.. gone.

I do have photobucket, and I do have some pictures there, but not many. 

The last 2 years of pictures did not transfer, nor did the A-half of R files.  All gone..  VERY DEPRESSING. 
I talked to my uncle about recovery a few days later and I dont have the money it would cost.  He sends the hard drives out to a company for retreival and it costs about $2000.

Oh, man!  Sorry to hear that!  You have shared some really nice ones.  Feel free to continue sharing.

I was able to have a guy work on my computer and he retreived some of them.  I had thousands of pictures and he retreived a bunch that I wouldnt have missed, but he was also able to retrieve a few that I really would have missed.  Some are just gone, and I wont know until I look for them specifically.

I will be building my files back up gradually, and will post some more in a few days.  I need to get some current ones of the pups, they are 7 weeks old now.

Hey Kim... I am glad that Gordon was able to get some of the pictures... I just hope that he got most of the important ones back. When I emailed Gordon about what happen to you I knew he would be able to get the pictures back for you.... He has done awesome work when I had a computer issue.

There you go parading my FAVORITE BOY around again...gonna have to come steal him...LOVE that head shot out the window of the vehicle..I will go to my grave with that >LOOK < in my mind...CONGRATULATIONS   and he deserves all the brags   after all YOU  are his MASTER who took him there..!!
