Sounds like you got a nice dog there. I saw Era when she was just a pup up at VDH when they were in Montana and VDH was owned by Dari. She was hell on four legs at a young age for sure!

As far as Margot I have never met her but I own her sister who was a littermate to Margot. My female is smaller than Margot but is also hell on four legs. She doesn't settle very well at all but her protection is awesome and she has pretty good OB as well.

Brian any thoughts on Cato Katargo? 

How come Reyna is on the Ehret website ?

Is VDH still as good to deal with under the new ownership?  Sad that Dari had to sell.

Dari didn't sell VDH out right, she has a partner, Anne. They work together now. Dari due to health reasons couldn't handle the day to day operations any more. I found it was very easy working with Anne. It was different than when I purchased prior with Dari, but they were in a middle of a move also. Dari is not able to update the website often, but the facebook page has the most current updates by Anne. All the dogs are in NY state now with Anne. But Dari still has a say in breedings, puppy selection, etc..

I was told Margot doesn't settle well either, but was a good dog to work. Her puppies with Cato were so beautiful & full of drive. You could hardly walk with all the puppies hanging off your pant legs.

I'm glad to hear someone who has seen my girl's mom as a puppy. We just love her & I'm having so much fun training her. Era went more towards PPD training than sport as she matured.

You know I have never seen Cato in person so I don't really have an opinion on him good or bad. I have liked what I've seen in his videos as far as protection goes.

Reyna is on the Ehret K9 Colorado site because I am allowing Christy to use her for breeding. I still own her I just do not want nor do I have the time to deal with pups right now. Christy and I live in the same town basically so it is easy if / when Christy wants to have pups out of her.

I have never dealt with Anne on a puppy purchase but I have had  quite a few conversations with her about Margot and Reyna. She seems like a very nice person and she is really easy to talk to so I would imagine she would be easy to deal with for a puppy.
