Those animals are displaying that rare Syndrome: Melting Dog Syndrome! It happens, but not to worry. They can be snapped out of Melting Dog by kitchen smells, favorite parent arriving in car, etc.

OMG these were great pictures.....I got a few chuckles.
Bad dog (Ronin) on the couch who likes to steal blankets and pillows from my son's bed (yes he uses his teeth to pull the covers up)
My other male Loki used to sleep on his back in the bathtb (no pics unfortunately)

My little Isis when she is done napping and is feeling bored, she shows teeth until someone gets the hint she wants to go do something. We laughed our butts off the first few times never realizing until too late we were reinforcing this by paying attention. Dang smart dogs and dumb humans !!!!!!

caught her on video sleep yesterday, I almost feel bad for waking her up it was so cute...
