Yes, I made my comment about her weight based on the first picture. With the second one, I wasn't sure if I was seeing excess weight, or a lot of wet coat. The tuck-up in her abdomen looked okay, so I decided to say she didn't look overweight.
Could be she could stand to loose a few pounds, though. The only way to tell for sure is to feel her ribs.

I looked over that photo carefully after you made your comment. In that photo she does look a little tubby and then I remembered that the photo had been compressed in an archive which did distort her image.
Once you get your fingers through her coat, you feel bone and she is very powerfully built.
She actually has a nice hourglass figure.
My only wish is that she would enjoy the water but she prefers to stand guard, overlooking the antics of the Spuds in the water.
She's pretty snooty about lowering herself to the levels of the Goldens. heh.
