It’s a real shame these things cannot be discussed in a rational, adult, civilised and dignified manner.

Whilst I am not endorsing the manner in which it was put across on here, it would seem to me that there is a concern with some of the advice given to the public from GSD info Group representatives.

I appreciate that no one person can enforce what is correct however, as Group representatives, there is an obligation to give the correct information and guidance to the puppy buying public if approached. Anything less than correct will threaten the good standing of the group and ultimately the health of the breed itself, not to mention misleading the public.

Nonetheless, the past is the past, I hope going forward this is not the case and there is no basis for any allegations to be made.

You should learn to read, I have not had any litters for 7 years

But the puppy I have recently aquired came from lines scored and the same will be done before I start to work her.

Of course now there is only the Breed suppliment to go by and no Year book we will again be kept in the dark as to who has and who has not won't we?

Thanks Mark I do personally give out correct info, regardless of what others seem to think. I also try MYSELF to FOLLOW such. info.
But enough is enough I have not the time to argue, Life is too short.

I don't have BUDDY'S thank you... I am in this breed because i love GSDs its not a bloody popularity contest

TIGERMOUSE . I apologise for me being a bit frisky. Me like some others get mad with people trying to cover up their own dirty tracks. SUPERDOG. So what if yer last litter was 7 years ago huh elbow tests been going around 12 years and ya did say ya did do such tests meaning elbows when ya did yer hips so where are they HUH ?. bit contradicting I would say. Dunno wot the blazes ya banging on about things kept in the dark , I dont savvy that, wots wrong with the K.C.breed records to go by , are you sayin its false info ?. Seems like its you that bin on the pills and need some more !.

My this thread has gone off topic the more I read, interesting though I must say. I don't agree with aggressive posts but can understand the frustration similar to the frustration I have had myself when looking for a breeder who xrays for hip and elbow dysplasia. I was also shocked at what I had heard about the GSD info group, I was told it was not dorothy cullum that had given out incorrect information. I was told it was in fact chris harvey the breeder of the litter that mark3 has commented about that gave out incorrect information to a puppy buyer who fortunately knew better.

Hmmmm,now then,where can one start?? Well.........I know Superdog, have done for about 7 years. Have had dogs from the crappiest, most devious of breeders when I was young and naive.......the first of whom, gave me a bitch on breeding terms when she didnt even own her, didnt hip score before breeding....to her own half brother.....then covered her tracks in lies and all manner of crap. And I believe she is a friend(and I use the term loosely, Jonah1, because you dont really have friends, you just have hangers on, if you are, who I believe you are), of yours.
I know Chris Harvey. I know Margeret Nyrvana Jones. I have heard of Mrs Joyce Ixer, but I haven't had the pleasure of speaking to this lady. What I DO KNOW...............is that ALL the members of the GSD Info Group do more to help, preserve and further the breed of GSDs than you, Jonah1, and any of your gobby, misinformed, and extremely badly educated associates.......if you cannot even string a legible, grammatically correct sentence together, how the hell do you manage to be such avid, perfect and enthusiastic followers of the GSD breed???

Why can't the person or persons at fault admit they were wrong and try to rectify their mistakes instead of scouting around valid questions, clouding the truth by telling more lies and making it worse. Even that what Jonah1 has posted is proving to be correct from a PM I received this morning that included a lady's email address who has also been mis informed about health tests from one person only on the gsd info group I do not agree with aggressive behaviour or the silly childish talk that has joined in late here. I do strongly share the views of Missbeeb. Mark3. Jaymesie51. Tigermouse ( not sure if Tigermouse is sitting on the fence or not ).

I don't know why Joyce Ixer has been brought into this, Joyce I know has nothing to do with it and would certainly never give out wrong information to anyone.

Petowner.
That is a barbed wire fence mate !!!!. lol
I'm just trying to be civil as I do not like to get into aggressive
arguments.

I don't want to make enemies but I dont care to make friends either.
I will support those who do the right thing by the breed and try to
educate those who dont know any better.

I hope that the person will look at what they have done and learn by their
mistakes.
If a member of the info group is giving out wrong information they
shouldn't be giving out information in the first place untill they
understand what they are talking about.

This breed is very dear to my heart and all I care about is the dogs,

I phoned Dot as I wanted to find out where she stood with regard to the
elbow and haemo testing and discuss the DM test with her, I am not a
friend of hers I have only ever spoken to her twice.
I stand by what I said to her with regard to the false info allegedly
given out and the breeding ethics of Chris Harvey,
the info group is GUILTY BY ASSOCIATION there needs to be well educated unbiast people
running such a group and they should practice what they preach.

I have never spoken to miss/mrs Harvey and have not seen the alleged e-mails
therefore I cant really get into a debate with her and I don't even know
if she is a member of the database,
it would be better if she would come on here and explain herself as it might help clear this matter up.

Jumping to conclusions seems to be this breeds favorite indoor sport.

I was once accused of being one of Videx's buddies and again I have only
spoken to him 2/3 times.
I dont know many people in this breed that well as you never know who is
up to what , and to be honest I really don't want to get that involved
UNLESS there is something that NEEDS TO BE SAID for the sake of the breed.

I hope this clears this up for you petowner you are one of a few people I
haven't seen a bad post from yet and I think we are singing from the same
hymm sheet :)
