Jena this summer

by Ibrahim on 30 November 2009 - 19:11

Vomruiz,

I am a learner, after that is said I second all what Debisue commented on her I want only to add that the first and second pictures are not that good (the pictures), in both those pictures one would think she has a stepped croup and a slightly high tail set. In the fifth picture which is the best one, her croup is very right (not short) like most of the puppies and dogs I see around. Debisue gave the puppy her right.

Good luch with her

Stacy
Okay when you can send the Pic's on when you can, I heard today how much the damage to the car is going to cost me if they do not find the Guy who caused the accident, i will have to find in USA dollars 9.500 dollars to repair my car when it is not my fault, it was a hell of a shock to here the cost
However if they do find the Guy and i get to know his address then he will have more to contend with when i pay him a vist, he will be paid back in full by me and more that is certain

Wow Stacy, she did fade a bunch.  Yes, I agree she is fine boned but if you took a little weight off her she would look more balanced.  She seems to have good ears on that head and I can't tell what color her eyes are but just what I see here, she looks pretty good other than the pigment.  She reminds me of our old girl.  It just blows my mind that a dog can change color sooo much from puppy to adulthood.   I wonder if I feed Echo carrots if her color would deepen?  I know if I eat too many I will turn orange.  Hmmmm

Steve1,
OUCH!  I hope you do find the worthless bum and get your money's worth.  Will they arrest him for false info if you point him out to the authorities or would it just be better to get revenge and call it good?   Pop him one for me and tell him it came from across the pond!

Thank you Ibrahim, I appreciate your taking the time to comment on her. I too, like the last picture the best. Even though her back right leg was turned out. She was just getting ready to spring into action when I took the picture! :-)

Steve, That is way too much money! I saw the damage to your car, but is it driveable? Do they have places over there where you can get a used door and just paint it? I hope they find that guy. Was your brother able to give a good description of the car and the driver? Man, I hope they find him!

Deb, My Jena did fade a LOT! I watched as she grew her black kept moving up till there was hardly anything but a small saddle. Her mask also faded. Her eyes are very dark brown. I will see if I can find a nice head shot of her. I think her ears may be a bit large, or I'm just more used to seeing a lot of the dogs with smaller ears, like my male.
I will try dieting her and maybe adding some carrots. ;-)  One of my children turned orange as a baby and I took him to the doctor for it LOL It was the carrots and sweet potatoes he was eating. Boy did I feel like a fool! I learned a lot about beta carotene that day too...

Here's Jena in her crate, upset that the puppy is out and she is in

Stacy, just make sure she doesn't bite the judge when you get her into a show ring. Just sayin'

She looks great!

I dunno JasonL...I saw the judge put a dog in 1st after it bit him on Sunday.  That dog had a lot of attitude and didn't care to have his teeth looked at but the judge was quick and only got nipped and laughed about it.  Johannes Grewe is a real nice fellow (hope I spelled his name right)

Jason, I hope she doesn't bite the judge. Though last night when I was snooping around in the fridge she grabbed me (full grip) by the back of the calf and sunk he teeth in! So I yelp and she starts barking at me, so I took the opportunity to tell her "Gib Laut." My grown male was in the house and heard me say it, so he starts barking frantically, she's barking...It was a madhouse LOL

Deb, Sounds like some judges are more forgiving. I'm not sure how I'd feel about getting bitten as a judge. Though I'm a groomer and I forgive dogs when they bite me too. Ya gotta be quick and read the dog LOL
