Liesjers

by Liesjers on 02 August 2009 - 22:08

For what venue?

For UKC.... I sometimes use a very thin "shoelace" style soft leather slip leash.  This is a shorter lead but very thin so I only use it in small rings on a dog that I know won't bolt (not that any dog should, but...).  I also have black rolled leather slip/choke collars and a black rolled leather martingale with a gold chain.  With these I have a matching thin black leather show lead with a gold snap.  This stuff I all got from a1leash.com.

For the SV style shows (WDA and USA) I just use a Fursaver and a loooong lead.  Or rather my friend who handles uses these.  Her lead is 8', plain leather about 1/2" wide.  We don't have any of those fancy Herm Sprenger show collars that fit on the dog's throad.

At the present time I am buying some beautiful collars and leads from Hund-Sport-Shop. I have chosen what I want to buy and they have sent me an invoice but it is all in German.

They have very little English but I am still trying to work my way around the invoice they have sent me and what method will be best for me to pay for them.
