Great post Cris, thanks for sharing.  Off topic but germain to the subject. Xeph most knowledge about bloodlines is kept close to the vest.  Cris has been around GSD's for decades and has taken a passion for GSD's to obtain and aquire this knowledge.  Like any education one must learn to do research.   For schutzhund training and breeding, one must attend seminars, go to clubs, shows and LISTEN!  If you are talking you are not listening.  Sometimes the most knowledgable people do not share with people they do not know because dues (seminars, club duties, many weekends at the club, travel to foreign lands) was paid to obtain the info. There are many old posts in this great database.  There are also many training and trial videos on the web.Good luck in your search.
Regards,
Kyle

If you are talking you are not listening.

I have never agreed with this sentiment.  if you are talking, you are usually asking questions.  I listen a lot, but I do not and will not just sit back and do nothing but listen, because I have more specific questions that I would like answers to, and I don't oftenget them unless I say something.

And yes, there are many old threads on this forum...but they don't usually tell me what I actually want or needto know.
