I guess it is the quarantine laws that are giving you the most problems in finding a breeder willing to ship to you.  I imagine you have contacted most of the big name European working line breeders with no luck.  I wish I had any fresh ideas for you, but I am stumped.  Hopefully someone else who knows what to do will read this thread and  help you figure this out.  I'm afraid in this situation the most help I can be is to bump this thread to the top.  Good luck in your search, I know it must be frustrating.

That's just it, I don't know where to look for working line breeders that are producing good dogs.

I've just recentley "discovered" IPO and I'm getting really interested in that.

But like I mentoined I don't want a sable dog nor black.

Please give me suggestions for good working kennels in Europe.

It would be awsome if their homepage is in english, nordish, swedish ...

Please help me

Sounds like you are looking for a perfect dog not the perfect dog for you,

with all the dogs to choose from, you really can't say that you have not found a real GSD,

I really think the owner makes the dog, and if you want a two year old dog.......is it that you want temperament, hips & elbows to be fine, or are you looking for a dog that is already trained.....

If Talweg's is the dog you favour, than go for it, write him a letter if need be, with all the descriptions you have gone over, why let someone old fashioned put a damper on getting your dream dog, where there's a will there's a way......

Their dog is probably your best bet, BECAUSE they are old fashioned, way more experience, and probably a more selective breeding program than most.

No no, I think you misunderstand me.

I'm looking for the perfect breeding for me.

The dog will never be perfect.
But I've got to trust the breeding, and like what the breeding is offering.

I' ve been through a lot of breeders now and I'm sending a few e-mails and see where it will go.

We'll see.

I'll post you guys an update of how it goes :)

Though they have beautiful sables and blacks they also have bicolor and Bl/red... and the quality has been consistant.  Check Otay or Orkan of their males... Hera and Lorett of the females they have on their site.

Thanks I took a look at the website.

They have good looking dogs, but mostly like you say sable .

OK Escobar, I think I understand what you mean, and it really doesn't hurt to look around, and check all you can!

windwalker18, I have a new female pup that has potential for Sch titles, I have just never titled in Sch before, I can't wait, I am hoping to begin this week, I have titled in AKC obedience but not any German OB.

This is my girls pedigree, she was born July 1st 2009, and she's a firecracker!
Her great-grandsire on her dad's side is V Metin Vom Stadtfeld

Thanks for the link,

Von Stadtfeld is one kennel that seems to produce consistantly.  Metin and Uno especially.  Also Love what I've seen from Mohnwiese www.grammozis.de/  (Great video and article on puppy training on site also) Döllenwiese  www.doellenwiese.de/
and Maineiche.

The criteria that it be a working Bl/red... and not sable/black but from working lines limits choices.  But these kennels do occasionally produce bi and bl/red pups, or stud out their males for breedings that will produce them.   It's well worth contacting any of them and asking if there will be bi or bl/red puppies in the near future.

I would suggest that you find a pedigree that you like, I would look at sire and damn then start back to grandparents as those breeders are most likey still around find kennels thru here or AKC and research and email them. If you want to trail and spend time out in the wild, then you may not want to go with a over the top dog ,as they can trigger, with out that type of training from a pup, more of a farm or country, with the coloring you like. You want alot but most country folk dont do alot of titling so look at bloodlines  remember you buy potential not a given, a dog is only as good a the trainer YOU are, If you have never raise a pup then I would start there, as they are like having a teenage boy from 6 mth untill 2 with the weight to back up there nausance. Not alot of fun at times but they are too smart and I love there mines. Mine bring me the hose, holes and all when it is hot, leash when it  is walk time, bowls when empty Ha!  You never know what they will do and how hard they will work to get ther way. good luck and if you see  what you like ask here with a grain of salt for help.
