I put ISO (134.2 kHz) chips into all of mine. Oldest was 7 years. No problems with migration or not being able to read so far. Bought my own scanner MiniMax from Datamars which I take to every show/trial. Its also helpful to test the chips before a trial comes up. Now I am just looking for a general database to register them in one place since I have them now from two companies, Datamars and HomeAgain (and they charge a fee).
