BH on 2 dogs in spring. IPO1 on one or both in spring. If not spring then fall. Hopefully on all goals. Great topic.
Take care

My goal is to get CGC and BH on both pups.  From there, make a decision on what to do with Cirberus and train from there.  For Max, have him ready for therapy certification by year end.  I personally would like to attend at least 2 more trials to get a better view on what IPO is all about and attend some agility and rally events.

This year, our goals for Bosco are:

  1. to obtain his SV conformation rating in June. We've been learning to stack him and next up is to learn about gaiting.

  2. to do his CKC CGN.

  3. to test for his CKC TD this fall...if we can ever figure out how to get Bosco to down at the articles on-track. This is the only thing he's ever stubbornly refused to do although he will indicate articles perfectly off-track. Grrrr! We're frustrated with him so we've taken a break from tracking for a bit.
Oh yeah ...and we're moving across Canada in the summer so finding enough time to train will be a challenge.

Good luck to everyone with their goals!

YAY! Sounds like a really good year ahead! :-) I have to remind myself to have fun with my dogs and not stress. If they are having fun, then I am having fun, the rest will fall into place.

Great post - loving reading about what everyone is hoping to acheive!

2012 was a pretty spectacular year for us so it's going to be hard to top but here goes with the aims....

I would hope that I can get IPO3 with Mascani Ikon, we have work to do especially on tracking but that would be really special and a goal which I have some control over, I would also really hope that he gets his third and crowing CC this year but I have very little control over that other than to keep him in the best condition I can.

I hope that my Mum has success with her Ikon daughter, Mascani Kiwi, who makes her show debut this month. I've missed Mum at the shows over the last couple of years so hope this pup proves to be the one which re-ignites her interest and we can enjoy our hobby together again.

I also hope that the two pups which we are very grateful to have been allowed to buy from the Dunn family - Komrad Kruger at Mascani and Komrad Katja at Mascani - also have a successful start to their show careers from April. (They are by Boomer von Polarstern out of Champion Mascani Kandi)

Finally, I hope that as I start to train Katja I learn from all the mistakes I made with Ikon (my first Schutzhund training) and have a slightly less nerve-racking experience when she is ready for BH!

Good Luck everyone and let's get back together at the end of 2013 and see how we did!
