What is funny is that to me, a cut-out of this dog would look just like a pretty typey show line dog right now, but show lines are constantly being criticized for this type. There are a lot of working line dogs I like, but not because their conformation is more the show line type. There are many things I like about this dog, some things I don't, and some things I can't judge just looking at this picture.

I have been checking workingdog.eu and his demand is litterally blowing up. Would be icing on the cake if he does something amazing at a major trial.

In the working pictures and video, you can see that he has a somewhat short croup with a slightly high tailset. I think the stack shot is slightly modified to give him a longer and smoother croup; the topline might also be somewhat modified.
Nevertheless, he is a stunning dog.

Yes he is a stunning boy and I have not found a dog so nice since Voodoo Hartis Bohemia; now that is also lovely conformation and very flashy for shows and they can both work. The perfect dog(S).

this is like a feeding frenzy - for the sake of us newbs can anyone actually say what makes this dog so drool-worthy other than a great top line.
how old is it and what has it done - is it a genius in the work as well as a still photo. to me it looks like a million other gsd's???
