Thanks, VK.

Robin, thank you! I had emailed you before the last show (before I knew it was when I was out of town) wondering if you would help me get Capri's KKL1 for life. That was the same judge who gave it to her in Germany and I really wanted to bring her, Anya, Anza, and another male just to see what he thought of the rest of them. It would've been like a family reunion at that show. I am just totally clueless about show stuff, so thanks so much for the offer and I will most definitely take you up on it, except the part about accepting Anya as payment. cheeky  I will pm you because I don't even know how I'd go about finding out when/where the next shows are.

They are such nice puppies, I really want to put her out there for others to see also. I bet Sina will have that next litter sold waaaay before they hit the ground should she decide to repeat the breeding. I have always admired Tonga from afar and had hoped to breed Capri to Arko but logistically, that's been really difficult, so Anya is like the perfect alternative.

I would love to see the others; where are the other boys?

I just emailed Sina and asked about the other boys. I was wondering how they were too and would love to see updated pics.

Thank you Searackal, he's turning out to be quite the little charmer!

It's interesting at shows because we are one of only a few DDR dogs ever entered. He may not place well, but he's still earned 2 VP's so it 's all worth it. I get a kick when asked who bred him because they start to name off well established DDR breeders they are sure he must have come from.  I think this is a big compliment to Sina for producing such a wonderful litter first time around. We're very happy with him and  do our best to represent vom Goldwald  and make Sina proud !!!!!!!!!

Once again....we wouldn't have gotten this far or even have him for that matter if it wasn't for Robin, Jen and of course Sina. Thank yousmiley ladies for all the help and support!!!!!!!!!

Now back to reality...I'm running late this morning and the little butthead is demanding his breakfast!!!!!

I didn't do anything but refer you to Sina.

And don't forget, I almost stole him from the airport, so don't be too generous thanking me.

I knew what Jen got with Capri once I saw the pedigree. You just can see what the breeder of her linage was thinking. Well balanced, with the edge of sharpness and drive, but keeping structure in mind as well. Bred on a strong mother line. Than this combined with a DDR line to add even more bone, hardness, robustness and color. Great combination! Will it bring the next world champion? ... We will see....hahahaha! As Apache became avaiable, I just had to snatch him! Thanks Jen for working with me! He is a hard dog, not easy to live with and only for a strong experienced handler. Dominant, possessive, shows handler agression when he gets frustrated or when he is in drive. Because of that I had to put a lot of control on him, which now shows in SCHH. We added another decoy, and Apache looks for my "permission" to bite. His bites are very hard and he could care less about the stick. The more fight the better! In the escape bites he likes to go for the man, not the sleeve. Dangerous....LOL

Tunguska has a typical DDR pedigree, nothing outragious special if one just looks at the pedigree. I would describe it as solid. Its based on workability. There are true proven herding dogs in her motherline, and she inherited those traits. She has a temperament to die for, sweet and sassy, like ice cream with a shot of sweet liquor. Loves to work, easily voice directed, predictable, teachable, and a big thinker! But there are also some negatives. Because of the herding aspect her grips are full, but not the hardest. She doesnt like stick pressure, and she doesnt like to turn in her head during heelwork. But AKC likes that and she placed always in the first to third.

Even though this was an Ooops litter and not planned at this time, I had this combination in mind from the beginning. Of course I hope to bring the good attributes of both parents together. We shall see how it works out. The males of this litter are all very drivey with beautiful color and heavy bone. The bi-color Arko was a lil monster as puppy and a handful. I have not heared from Kelly in a while and hope everything is well. Ajay (now Kato) is doing well too. His owner wanted him more for a companion, but considers now SCHH training as well in the Atlanta area. I dont have current pics of the two.
I will be holding on to the two girls for now and took Ava's add down (unless someone offers a fortune...hahaha). Annabell was the first in everything, a go-gether, trouble maker, very drivey as well. But has a bit of nervousness in her. I am not sure if its part of the temperament or part of her not being able to handle her drive yet. Ava was the shy one as young pup, and everything took her longer than the other pups, even to putting her ears up. However, she has gained a form of calm confidence. Late bloomer for sure. Is not as drivey as Annabell, but has a lot of defense in her. I started both of them in rug work and on baby tracks. No obedience yet and it shows... hahaha (I think I start today)
Right now Ava has the stronger bite and pulls hard backwards to win the rug. Annabell is more drivier going after, but once she has it she doesnt hold onto it as much. Sadly down here in the south the shows are over for the summer. But I plan on the USCA regionals at Coastal Carolina in december.

Congrats again Cat! on the VPs, and thanks for showing him :) And thanks to Carlos and Robin for taking Cat and Aurick under their wings!

I listened to the judges critique, but can barely make out what he is saying. I think nice head, very good expression, good front angulation, very good hind angulation. Very stocky built? Front reach could be better. And he says something about "in the future......."?

The bullhorn really sucked and he was hard to hear even in person. He says something about the elbows in the future being a little more ????????????  Aurick has nice reach when he wants, he just has to learn how to put his best foot forward(no pun intended) at the shows.

I wish I had the other judges critique filmed, that was a real nice one. The only thing negetive he said was he's a little short in the forearm.

After that show we started hangingsurprise Aurick by his front legs for 10 minutes a day and it must have worked, 2nd judge said nothing about his forearms!!!!
JUST KIDDING!!!!!

ROFL! I just listened to it again and figured out the "future" part. He said that in the future his elbows should be a little bit more firm.
