I have had very very young puppies do it a lot, but they have always outgrown it. It's annoying when they're 5-16 weeks old and you can't walk w/out puppies attached to your legs, humping like there's no tomorrow...but I can't help you with a dog that old still humping inappropriately. Perhaps if you could show us a video of a "coordinated hump" that might spark me into remembering something I might know that could help you.

Good one Jen.....lol...see the problem is that every time that I'm about to shoot the video I start feeling like.......why am I laughing and why am I even trying to take a video of his uncoordinated humps. Lol

brynjulf, I found this issue to be much more annoying in a spouse than a dog and harder to cure. Sometimes you just have to re-home them.surprise

Rik, this one is still not successfully rehomed as the last trainer could not fix the humping problem either :) This dog  is being passed from home to home without anyone having the ability to rehabilitate successfully . ROFLMAO.  Having him neutered is not an option at this point either.

LOL, Rik and Brynjulf!!

Welcome to the world of teenagers! At 16 months your boy's hormone levels are just shooting ...or should I say humping !
NO is a good option, how about a stern leash correction?
I would send a strong signal that that's not acceptable and work with that until is hormone levels are finally balanced.
