It is HARTIS Bohemia kennel. Not just Bohemia. Just giving the credit where the credit is due. I have posted this dog here and this and other videos before.

when I was at a GSD presentation of breedingdogs in czech , I saw several showlinedogs performing better than what we are used to , another compliment for czech workingdog breeding
but fact remains that in general these are exeptions and noway a representation of showlinedogs in general

troublelinx, I see the same, all prey and no defense. Not saying defense may not be there (after all the dog is 14 mos in the video) but he is not being worked to show it in that video. I like his attitude overall and his grips. Can't really say if I like his work overall b/c I'd want to see him worked differently. Even for prey work though, definitely better than most show line dogs, which is telling in a sad way.

VKGSD,
You make a very ture statement.
Some sports people , not all, like the training totally in prey. This shows to be the ideal difference between sport and protection to the fullest extent.

For the people that talk about the dog working in prey, let's see some video of your dogs working in defense, Not somebody else's video you find, your dog/s. No BS excuses either.

I keep hearing some say, " he is good for a " showline "......IMO based on the full sum of the videos that I have watched, he's good period....And might I add super handsome too...: )

Ruger,
Most showlines will show well when worked in prey, like this dog is being worked it's when you put the pressure of defense on them that you find out if they will continue to step up to the work or decide they want nothing to do with that weird man with the sleeve and the stick.
I don't post videos on this website but if you want to see a dog of a similar age worked in defense/aggression, PM me and I'll link you to my young male being worked. We can walk through the differences of helper body language and what's going on between the two videos.

I didn't say he was bad or wasn't good, only that based on what this video shows he's not MY type of dog, show or working line. What I do see and like is his willingness to be there. If I saw more footage especially more work in defense my opinion of him might change. It's not a show vs. working thing for me, own both and train and title both. There are plenty of working lines you couldn't pay me to own either. Right now my main dog is a show line male.
