I like that OG, it is sorta old school. You could have your groceries in there and not have them crushed.

Find a dog any dog that has a better OG than this one. Also a GSD. LOL

There are more vids from APBAT and BA passion with Ulko in the selectives, and really really nice performances of the OG. It is not a fluke he does this so well.

What a great video. A thinking dog, not just a robot for a routine. Great nerves. Very sound anatomy as well, if they were all like this our breed would have a lot less problems.

What level ring is this?

I am pretty sure that Gary's video is the championship of France. He won it, just not sure if that is the video of the Championship that he won. Only pretty sure.

Ok, he got 8th place and did not win the Championship. Not sure what I was looking at to think that.

Amazing dog, and obviously amazing training.  It was worth the 2 hour download.

That was great!!  What a responsive dog! Agree that the final call off was a show stopper!

by Jeff Oehlsen on 23 December 2010 - 01:12

The call off is judged on how close the dog is when whistled or called back. The sooner you call, the less points you have. If the dog is within one meter, then a bump is allowed, if more than one, points are taken for it.

Normally in a trial, the order of the exercises is drawn that day, but for the Selectiffs and Championship, the order is known.

In FR the decoy is not necessarily stationary, but has to stay behind the line. He is allowed to entice the dog to bite.

In Mondio, it is a flee attack, and the dog is called at 2 meters for full points.

I have done both, and it was hard enough in Mondio to give the command correctly, as decoys have different speeds. In FR I messed it up, as the guy is not moving. THere are a lot of ways you can make a mistake on this exercise, and the dog biting is only one of them.

Jeff, all sports have things that I hate. They are sports. The one thing that always bothers me when I watch ring is when a dog guards like that between the legs. In real world that would be useless to leave a dog vulnerable. I know, I know. It is sport.

Very good, as we say in Wales "TIDY"

The dog is a really powerful lump, but the explosive speed this dog produces is stunning.

Really good attitude from the Handler, very positive, nice to see.

Also shows that when Jeff stops swearing and making cheap insults to half the forum he creates Threads which really contribute to the forum.

I agree with Don about the Guard between the legs is pure sport, but like all martial arts it stems from history, no more practical the the flamboyant jumps into the bite the KNPV dogs make, but its all part of the entertainment.

Thanks Jeff,

Ronin

I got my dog in between your legs, smacking his head into your balls, and you say it is not "street" ?? I have been bitten in the crotch many times. LOL Just teaching the dog he would jump up and smack my nuts together. He knows that shit hurts, he does it to be funny.

I got a dog that does the escort from behind. You wanna run from him in dockers ?

I know it is a sport, but having been bitten in the ass and the crotch and the inside of the thigh, and the back of the leg, right where your leg bends, man, they figure that shit out pretty quick if they are worth a shit. That low bite on the inside of the leg sucks as well.

Poor Ronin, so crippled by the written word. Here is some for you.  fuck sheet piss. LOL
