Felloffher

by Felloffher on 28 November 2010 - 18:11

DebiSue,

She is already staring down strangers that pass by the property and she always looks directly into peoples eyes with that intensity. Her strength of nerve at this age is impressive and nothing she's introduced to seems to bother her. I have a feeling she's going to be a very strong dog.

Very nice pup Felloffher. I am also in BC, near Kamloops. Looks like you have more snow then us. Cheers.

Thanks Sable,

We moved up here from the lower mainland last year. We live in the mountains now at 1200meters so winter starts early (end of Oct.) Do you train with a group in Kamloops?

I see that the mother is Czech, correct?  is the fathers lines mostly Czech too Felloffher?  I"m not familiar with all those dogs.

I love BC, hope to get out there sometime.  My parents go quite often, as of yet, they haven't taken me with them.  I have an Aunt in Victoria.

Are you on a fairly large chunk of land?

Red Sable,

The Dam's lines are all Czech. The sire is from Slovakia as are the dogs with the kennel name Va-Pe and Gaja-Nova. Corado's mother line through Irko Gaja-Nova is the only line with Czech dogs (50% Czech 50% German). The rest of the dogs are all German.

I can't argue with you about BC being a beautiful place, it's  definitely worth visiting. Victoria is a nice place to live and is very laid back. Do you live in Canada?

We live on 10 acres. It's not a huge chunk of land by any means, but is more than enough for our needs.

Thank you  for explaining the pedigree.

Yes, I am in Ontario. Ten acres sounds wonderful!

Hi Fellofher,

Thats quite the move!  How do you like Williams Lake? I come up there some times for barrel racing. Beautiful country.

My youngest dog  and I will train in Salmon arm in the spring. There isen't anything in Kamloops, that I know of unfortunately. Do you have a club up there?

It was a big change, but for the better. I live about a half hour out of town towards Horsefly Lake, Williams Lake doesn't really do it for me. I didn't know there's a club in Salmon Arm, I stayed at a buddies place in town for two months waiting to take possesion of our house. We have an informal club here, one certified Schutzhund helper and 5 dogs that work. I'm the only one not working towards Sch. title, it bores the hell out of me. There is a French Ring Club in 100 Mile House that I haven't been down to check out yet.

Do you race at the Stampede every year? What kind of training are you planning on doing?

by phaedra on 02 December 2010 - 06:12

I live in Nelson, BC.  I moved here last year, originally from Toronto. I wish there was some sort, any sort of club out here! I have a fierce 13 week old pup who I obviously train every day, but if he could talk, his first sentence would be "show me the decoy!"

Nice looking pup Phaedra, did you get her out here? I think the closest club to you will be in Kelowna, not exactly close. Welcome to BC.
