Seems that you always show up when things (SV-things) need to be whitewashed.
But as I have said here before, you are in it up to your neck. You are a water carrier (for SV-business and -people) thus always supporting the huge fraud.
Again, Zara had a terrible hipscore, made by a renowned veterinarian, Dr. Bodo Schäfer.
He did not shut up, like most vets do, when the SV-people fabricated their own diagnoses, so the dog could be promoted.
Dr. Schaefer made a written protest, and the SV covers it up now (with a bunch of crap and rules and regulations - letter is in my posession), because it's one of them, and because they always do that.
Things got hot and Dr. Tellhelm was told to shut up and look the other way! He was forbidden to speak.
Anyway, full story shortly!
Instead of running behind my back, you could organize an appointment for Zara von der Zenteiche and Christoph Ludwig at a neutral clinic. I will bring HD/ED-specialists, and we will see what the outcome is! Come and prove those hips have: "no cause for any concern"!! I will prove to you they are ruined! Unilateral!

Where do you figure in all this. Do you own the female, did you breed or buy progeny from the female? I am not being rude here, I am asking honest questions because I dont know.
If what you are saying is true, you need to provide the evidence that you say that you have, It is not good to say
"Anyway - full story later"
as you have done, because that gives rise to speculation, and disbelief, and also facts being embellished. If the full story is coming later, perhaps this post should have come later with it, so that the full story vould be seen and believed.

Humans are humans and when the ego is bigger than the cause you are working for, it is open for corruption.
This is too bad considering the owner is a SV judge supposed to protect the breed...Real sad..

Unilateral dysplasia CAN be due to an injury, therefore would not be heritable. An x-ray would show whether this was the case, or whether the dysplasia was due to something heritable, like malformed shallow sockets or subluxation.
However, if the parties involved refuse to provide proof, to me it would smell of a cover-up.

Because to say that a dog has moderatly dyplasia there has to be changes likes osteophytes or remodelling of the acetabulum..that doesn't fix itself..
Better believe in the boogie-man than this...Those dog that got better either were misdiagnosed..or it is not the same dog that was on the table for the second time..
If someone try to make you believe that...you can tell them they are full of sh...!

And it MIGHT have been graded as mild, I have to confess my memory isn't 100% clear on the original grade!
The owner is someone I know and trust, and the dog was a Shiloh, not a GSD. They aren't fully mature until 3 years old, due to their larger size.

Prelimps wouldn't be stamped into the pedigree, only x-ray taken after 18 months of age used for Hip certification with stamp.
Still it is strange that the stamp has been modified and I would wonder about the credibility of the owner/breeder in this case.
I agree that it a VA should have "a1" or "a2" hips, however noone is forced to buy a puppy here....

There's a lot of what's being presented that just doesn't pass the smell test. There's no money in the VA females. It's an honor to breed such a dog. This is the breeders third as I recall and he had the highest placing dogs way before he was a judge. That's part of the process to become a judge.
Let's look at Zara and assume the dog had a3 hips and not the a1 hips and elbows and low ZW of 73. Siblings are 73 and 83 so there's no reason to suspect the 73 is not valid unless you want to say the ZW of the siblings were altered too. Check out the 2009 Urma book. Zara is listed there way before she was VA with a1 hips and elbows. All this had to take place between the time the dog was 12 months old and the time the entries closed for the sieger show. That's a lot of work to get done in a short period of time.
What about the dog. It's about the dog anyway isn't it? Does Zara warrant her place even if she had a3 hips? Let's see, Hmmmm The VA1 male Pakros has a3 hips. Over 50% percent of the VA males in 2009, (yes the ones that stand to influence the breed more than the females) are a2. If the sieger can have a3 hips, why can't the VA8 female? See, even if it were true, it really wouldn't matter would it.
Let's go on as there's much more to the VA rating. Look at the parents. Furbo, Who's this Furbo dog? What did he produce? Look at his father Quenn, what did he produce? Only the best dogs since Ursus Batu so I think the father is worthy of the VA title. Let's look at mom. There's Kelly. Anyone seen Kelly? What a beautiful female. VA1 in the US, highly placed in Germany. Producer of not one but two top SG females and a son VA2 in the US. She's from a long line of top producing females. This is the stuff VA dogs are made of. She should be VA with 3 legs.
It's the usual Jantie drama we have all come to know. A very well written slant on bits and pieces of information that doesn't really matter, spun in such a way that the sky is falling without really substantiating anything. All over sour grapes from a dog with bad hips they put to sleep after others offered to take it.
