A nice dog with some good progeny though nothing since 2003, was he withdrawn from stud ?.

Thanks everyone,,,,, and to Paulo - he was almost 14 years old, so obviously no progeny for a long time, and not the most used stud dog in his day,there were more exciting bloodlines around for people, although he certainly left his stamp on quality for the progeny he did produce in his day. Mo

Sorry to hear this Mo. I met him when we came to pick Sasha up (he's her Grandsire) and he was a sweetie - I think it was him who persuaded Mark that GSDs were not going to eat his children when he jumped up at him for a cuddle!

Sorry to hear of your loss it is always heartbreaking even if we know it is coming. We have a 12 year old at the moment so has not long to go so understand completely. It never gets easier and I am glad it doesn't because feeling terrible about their demise keeps us normal. Love them all good or bad. Jean and jackie

why do peole come on these threads to offer condolences etc.and then ask questions or state things at inapropriate times.i believe yu(Mo)did give the reason to people who asked at the time and anyway who,s business is it of yours Paulo anyway.yu could have PM,d Mo,instead of asking on here at a sensitive time for the family.STIR MONGERING COMES TO MIND ONCE AGAIN.Carole S.
