Taking your money?
They will still give a clean bill of health to breeders who breed with sick dogs with
missing teeth bad hips elbows ect ect ect .
Also a dog or bitch with bad H.D. can get awarded with a K.C. CC.
What a joke, the laughing stock of the rest of the w.u.s.v.world,
The video above is showing you all which way they are going.

I have a few questions

Why was the German Shepherd bred in the first place. Was it to be shown in a ring, be a pet or to be a working dog.

Where does the public demand lie for German Shepherds i.e. Showing, Pets, or as a working dog.

Can the majority of German Shepherds bred nowadays do the job that the breed was intended for?

Does the KC only deal with dogs that are bred to be house pets?

What precisely do the KC hope to achieve by this contract - I watched the clip and they weren't very specific in the interview- as far as I could fathom it was "that the back end does not look right..." Are they suggesting that the firm back, well laid croup and excellent hind angulations that we are striving to achieve must now be bred out of the GSD? I wonder if any of them have taken their dogs for a 20km run lately...

I'm not from the UK, but man, I'm taking this personally!

I'm no expert, but looking at the clip, I imagine that he would've looked even better and given a more balanced side view to those morons (who don't know their collective arses from their elbows) either gaiting in front of his handler or off lead next to his handler. s

Vanessa, an excellent 2 cents worth too!!! And you are quite right to take it personally, it may not affect you directly but this is an insult not only to the BOB dog at Crufts, his owner but to every correct GSD and their owners WORLD WIDE. Can i ask what age you are if you do not mind.

VanessaT an excellent post - and I fully agree with the comment from bazza - (except asking your age) - The owners, breeders and supporters of the correct international GSD within Great Britain are building strong support around the World for their campaign against the Kennel Club's victimisation of our 'correct' GSD and their refusal to co-operate with our GSD breed when we requested the KC to introduce meaningful health screening tests as a "requirement" of Kennel Club Registration of all GSD litters.

The wide circulation of emails and the related threads on this PDB, along with information on my website, is reaching out. We must all be united and determined in this campaign to protect our correct GSD against any ignorant organisations, wherever they are, with agenda's clearly based on dogma against the GSD and ignorance of our WUSV/SV & FCI GSD breed standard.

Vanessa, I did not mean to offend in any way. You just look quite young in your avatar and I thought it was nice to hear the passionate comments of younger folks. After all us " oldies" will not be here forever and it's good to know that there are younger ones with passion to take the reins.
