Nice picture showing no extremes or roach back. I took a picture of him after his class, my picture also shows no extremes and nice straight back, sufficient hind angles and straight hocks, although it is my picture and my copyright I will ask Carol Keen for permission to post.

Have posted on that site - 2 adverse comment from people who obviously do not understand the breed

Obviously, "BVA" = British hip certification org? Would someone please explain the scheme? What do the numbers mean?

by noddi on 21 March 2010 - 14:03

mystere...B.V.A.=British Veterinary Association.Hip Score ranges from 0 to 53 per hip.the lower and even the score the better.elbows range from 0 to 3 .as with hips the lower the score the better.as yu can see our  best of breed this year at crufts has perfect elbows and excellent hips.Carole Spelman RHEINMEISTER GSDS.

Thank you for the explanation. Much appreciated. :-)

WOW. I went and looked at the dog's BOB photo...that has got to be one of the least extreme GSDs I've seen in a show photo in a long time. I can't believe the idiot press think he's such a poor example....obviously they haven't seen too many dog shows. I am a working lines person, and even I think that dog looks nice.

It's the idiot Kennel Club, VomMarischal.  Our very own, very stupid KC.

Red Sable

Well, I admit to having reserves when I went to look, but I was pleasantly surprised too.  Looks like a nice dog to me also.

They're using panic techniques, shock garbage, on the public. And the public feels VERY well informed since that TV show. Horrible. My hats off to the woman who bred that dog. Excellent work.
