 She's a charming girl.  I particularly like the first photo.

As a general question -- do breeders have a descriptive term for when  dog only has black on the muzzle and very little on the face.  I've heard it described as "no mask", but I don't know whether that's the "official term" or not.  The reason I'm asking is that some friends recently adopted a GSD that was labelled as a "cross" in the shelter.  There's nothing "cross" about her that I can see -- pure GSD, and a sweet and clever girl.  Her markings are just a little unusual in that the saddle on her back stops at the back of her head, and her entire face is tan with only a little black on her muzzle.  Your girl has very similar markings, just a little more black.

hi jackal not sure to be honest asha is full pedigree maybe your friends dogs was labelled as a cross because of body structure because ashas markings are all gsd sorry cant be of any help x

jackal ,  would be interesting to see your friends dog.. maybe you could get them to post a new thread with a picture and see what others think?  

I love that first photo too.  That should be in a frame on your wall.  She's very pretty and looks very sweet.

 I won't repost without getting her permission, but I can link to her publicly posted pictures (they're the two underlined links).  If there's something else besides GSD in this girl it doesn't show to my eyes (or in her behavior). Not that it matters to the owners -- they love their dog, but I'd be curious to know if there's a term for her markings. I suspect the shelter labeled her a cross just because they couldn't be certain she's purebred.
