I wouldn't have sent these in - wayyyy bad positioning. Really bad - twisted, not straight and not positioned correctly. That said, I would also guess that they will not pass OFA, because of one hip. The other looks ok but the other is not seated in the socket well enough and shows some boney changes. I guess borderline or mild.

The hip on our right in this x-ray is somewhat out of the socket. I would definitely have this repositioned and redone. I would not send these in; just to take a look they might be OK for that, but to have OFA grade these with this poor quality x-ray is not to your dogs advantage. I would currently rate these mildly dysplastic.

Where are the knee caps? You have to be able to see knee caps in order to see if the positioning is done properly. Patella must be in the middle of the knee like bullseye.

My females hips looked similar and she came back as mild dysplasia. I had them taken 3 months later with a different vet who does a lot she passed and certified as good. The vet said positioning and the type of anesthetic they use can make a difference.

Damn Hans,
I'm blind from trying to read your post. Would you please knock off the red. I understand why you did it but you've made my eyes bleed!
