Jeff Rentz has a pretty good reputation as far as I know.........

I do not know Jeff Rentz. I only "know" Windy Pool from the crap she posts on this forum ( She was gone for a hile---wonder where? Hiatus?) ¶As I pointed out on the identical thread she started under "General Topics," the whole story is fishy. This woman, WELLLLL known as a fruticake, claims she hauled her doggy all the way to North Carolina in her big SUV because she couldn't find a trainer in TEXAS??? Please, just check ou the USA, WDA and DVG sites so you can see for yourself the NUMEROUS schutzhund clubs in Texas, many of which are associated with PROFESSIONAL TRAINERS!! But, she had to haul ass and pooch to North Carolina?? Hmmm ¶ Now, one must wonder why she could not either send her pooch to one of them...or join a club to train it herself. There is one very obvious reason, especially given her "history" on this board alone: They will not work with her. If she came to you, and you knew her history, living in the same area, wouldn't you tell her you are too busy, as a way to get rid of her in a "kinder, gentler" manner?? Any bets?? ¶Windy Pool had one purpose with these multiple threads and that is to schmear Jeff Rentz. What she succeeded in doing is showing her ass--again. ¶Schutzhund is a small community...and this type of behavior is "How to Be Persona Non Grata 101."

Carlos Rojas is a respected trainer to use 

 i have never heard bad things of jeff rentz so this is a little strange. i would love to know his side of this drama but the truth is he should not even humor her if he is in the right.

As Mystere said - Schutzhund is a very small community, and I have never heard anything negative about Jeff Rentz,  his training or himself personally.  I have met him several times at trials and chatted with him a few times - nice guy and obviously loves his dogs - I have recommended him for training to people in his area, and will continue to do so.

This is what i have been saying for a long time these posts can ruin a person' s good reputation on this occasion it is good that many of you know this Jeff Rentz and how the man really is, and know that the person posting this is not excatly a great one herself i take it is a lady the way she writes,
So the mans reputation is still intact, but it could have been otherwise and that is wrong I maintain that Private is Private between the two parties and not for a public board unless proven beyond all doubt

I also know Jeff and his wife personally and train with him weekly.  They are wonderful people who love all animals and like Joyce I also saw Hanz many times training happy and healthy.  I have left all 4 of my dogs with them on several occasions and they have always been treated as if they were their own pets training, boarding or any other situation.  Let me tell you this,  if you are a dog or cat or whatever at the Rentz house you are living better than most!  Stupid post and I hated to reply because I do not want to bump it up but thats my two cents.  I hope people are not turned off by this obvious nut job.  Great people all around.

It doesn't sound like Windy knows much about SchH training anyway.  Maybe she ought to try joining a club and training the dog herself.  There are many good clubs in Texas.  Why send a dog away for training, unless you're in the breeding biz?  I mean, at least TRY to train the dog first just to understand what it's really all about, and appreciate how much work is involved.
