A fiver i don't mind but if it is past a tenner, i will not be able to get it as i have spent my own money on other stuff, and mydad already hates dogs and i am lucky enough he is allowing me to spend around 7 pounds at the show.

Hamza, entrace to the show for spectators is free, but unfortunately there is a car park charge of £10.  Exhibitors have been sent a car park pass which is free, but if they forget their pass they have to pay £5.  Had I known earlier I could have sent you a car park label as we have two but are travelling in one car.  If you are definitely going and know what time, I could probably arrange to meet you and let you have the spare pass.  I will be there very early though as my other breed is first in the ring.  I would not worry about buying a catalogue, as they have details of all the breeds and you can always look at someone else's and what a lot of people do is to ask someone with a catalogue in another breed if they will let you have the pages for your breed from their catalogue.

Carole have you found out about train times yet?  How are you planning on getting to the showground from the station?

yes have found out the times of the trains.the one i am planning to get arrives at newbury at 9.47am.i will have to get a taxi from the station to the showground.the only thing with the taxis is the cost.the last time i attended this show was 2007 and the taxi fare was nearly 20 pounds going to the show and over 20 getting back as it had to go round the one way system.thats why i comtemplating whether to come or not.the train fare from maidstone to newbury is 30 pounds and 60 pence and i reckon the taxi fares could be between 25 to 30 quid each way making it 60 quid.daylight robbery.it states in schedule that showground approx 2 miles from newbury.i think its slightly further than that as it takes approx.15/20 mins to get there,but the taxi fare here in maidstone for that distance would be approx 10 to 15 quid.well i have till tomoz nite to make my mind up.Carole Spelman.

Can't help getting you there as I will be in the ring from 9.30 but I am sure I could take you back to the station some time later during the day if you know the train times.

I shall be there for the whole day, so will happily run you back to the station any time.  My other breed is a funny little black and tan thing, but I shall also have my Shepherd pup with me as they have a tent for unentered dogs.  I know who you are(!) so I will find you if you do decide to go. 

I couldn't go today, my dad had to take my brother to tuition and then he went to his sister to help her with something.

Hamza, sorry you could not make it.  The results are below.  Carole, good to meet you and Cheeky, she is a lovely girl.  My pup really enjoyed his day out and was not at all phased by the experience. 

I loved the colour of the Best of Breed - great to see a sable winning top honours.
