YOU ARE ANONYMOUS !! How could readers give your threads any credability. You talk of helping friends. What about messing up enemies ??? You could be Mikes enemy and out to get his reputation injured.... you may not even have been at the show .... you may have had a crap dog at the show which came last .... the issues could go on and on.
I will tell you where I am coming from fair and square. I am not anonymous, and I wasnt at the show. I am a very close friend of Mike and I dont believe for one minute that he would firstly look in the catalogue, secondly take nods from the steward, why do I say that? 20 plus years of being at shows, organising with Mike and seeing him steward ands judge tell me so. He is so bordering on podantic regarding the right rules being followed. I also agree with Heather, having known Mike for that many years, I dont believe he has any particular people to give favours to in Scotland. If he had - they would know him as well as I know him, and know that to enter under Mike, you take the decision on the nose because he would sure as hell be able to tell you why he put which dog where.
That said - I want to also let you in to a little about Mike. He is a non confrontational bloke, and doesnt look for trouble. I would never question his integrity for two reasons - I have never had reason to, and have seen him judge many times, and secondly, If this were done unjustly - like you have Kimi - it will afftect Mike very much.
Bazza has the best point on here - if you were at the show go for it - however, you cant do that with a hood on can you - so dont come on this board hiding behind it and making decent people feel very miserable - Mike is one of the most straight folk in dogs I know.
To Mike - if you read this thread..... there are anonymous trolls on this board that make things up, and lets face it they cant lose, they dont have to justify their rantings - sometimes because what they are saying is pure fabrication. People who know you and anyone who isnt afraid to name themselves, know it would be fabrication- . Mo.

Sadly it is not just the dogs and their owners being slated it is also the good name of a judge and stewards alike. And SMC is not annonymous, are you Sheena, just very surprised and disappointed at your comments here.

Although I did not attend Fife show I have seen Conbhairean Waro on a number of occasions and he is most definitely a dog worthy of winning and being awarded best dog.I have also seen the Minor Puppy bitch winner who as Heather stated is a quality puppy. Alex and Jean McKenzie won sp Yearling dog with Evawell Lars this dog was awarded a res CC only a few weeks ago so I would assume he was worthy of winning his class and their bitch Korzwin Ritzi of Alexabel won the Post Grad bitch Class. I know for a fact that Mike is not best buddies with either Heather and Dave or Alex and Jean. I would think their dogs won because in the Judges opinion they where the best in the class. can't comment on any other classes as don't know the results.
Although I would not call myself a friend I have known Mike for many years and I have always found him to be honest and up front.
Kimi If you had a problem with what you thought was happening at the show why didn't you complain to the Show Secretary on the day?

Exactly what I have said Linda, the complaint should have been made there and then not here on the GSD forum which makes it look like bad mouthing sour grapes, pathetic.

Linda, i don't have the full results but Impranah Razzamatazz won Best Bitch and as you know she has won numerous Best Bitches in Scotland and beyond. I know Jim Halliday's Nikonis Henrietta won Puppy Bitch and obviously the 2 classes Alec and Jean won. My catalouge is still in the van, sorry! Maybe Kimi can help with the full winners. If not, i will post them later for all to see :-)

I was at the show and it may have seemed that the steward was trying to judge the classes for the judge as I heard some people say this but in my honest opinion I do belive that Mike Ruston judged the dogs honestly and to his type of dog My dog was second and I was a little dissapointed in that but that is dog showing Mike spoke to me after the vet class and his comments were heart warming both for my vet and my other female and I would enter under him again
