i say call her puppy for a week or so till you get to know her and her personalitiy a little more. sometimes names come from the dog themself.
for instance. had this little female. crazy dog. she would roll over a lot and try and walk on her back legs. if you put her in a kennel she would climb it and bounce a round. a friend said she acted like a monkey at the zoo. her call name became monkey.
good luck picking a name, and good luck with your new friend.

I had a dog a few years back who named himself "Mookie". He was a very intimidating black GSD, but Mookie just fit.

I also had a pup who named himself. Seemed his name was a missing link. And so it was...Link.
