Hiya Carole
Great thanks, enjoying the weather and being out with the dogs. Nothing better.
I totally agree with you Olek is exactly to the standard IMO too. Colourwise, he is probably the colour I least like, but I would always willingly sacrifice colour for type. I love my blacks, but looking again at Paska he also has a little too much hind angulation for me too. Uno is out of the question for me backline wise.
No, not on facebook or any of those type of sites. I don't really get the point of it TBH. Old fuddy duddy that I am! I am also aware that some unpleasantness goes on on FB etc. It leaves you open to some people - I shall name no names - knowing too much about you personally. Also, I would be very hard pressed to find the time, and I do spend enough time on the computer as it is. When the weather beckons I am outdoors mostly. Sorry I won't see your photo's of Chiki. She does have a lovely 'bitchy' face, she definitely displays the required difference between female and male characteristics. With the breeding that has gone on over the last few years, I find the bitches heads look too much like the males.

yes .. i agree with the other posts .. nice form .. and .. if people wanted to improve the breed .. outcrossings and working x show can produce some wonderful GSDs . IMO just what the breed needs .. why should there be a difference // [ aside from people's ulterior motives ] . i have crossed my larus V. batu daughter with my fado karthago progeny and the result not all now in truth , but a number of progeny with v - rated structure that at 10 months had down pat : enry into bite suite , apprehension upon helper fleeing, guard /hold , , escape on guard attacks , recalled to heel from biting on suit .. not the best pups in the world .. but not shabby for a show line specimen ..., especially the ursus, yasko, larus as the forefathers. !! i also owned a jeck noricum / lasso neuenberg progeny who served as personal protection , did Sch, french ring... the genetic traits for work and function still exist in the both avenues show and working .. along with my experiences with the GSD , i hope this post gives others incentive to produce the type of dog exhibited on the first post of this thread.

I love the conformation of Frankie and then his F litter with Frederica and Francesco. I like more head but other than that, love it.

Windwalker, Totally right about genetically stamping, Frankie is a suberb example of a w/l dog as is his son Franchesco. I have seen more here on this site and on their web site the similarities to Frankie in his progeny is remarkable. There was a female pictured here by Frankie some time ago and she was superb, just can't remember her name at the moment, but it will come to me.
Miss beeb, I agree with you about Necki, in my opinion he is the best looking working line in the UK today. I very much doubt you will see Lynn round the show ring with him, sadly, can't say I blame her frankly!!!!.

Hi Carole, I'm getting there slowly but surely, maybe one day I might even tap you on the shoulder at a dog show, lol. As for Lynn and Neck I'm sure she would be only to happy to fill you in about him, just give her a call or send her an email.

I also have a Frankie grandson, but it black. Not the best pictures, but if there is one thing I'm not good at, it's stacking.

Hi Carol,
You wrote..
i too like neck, but i like the photo of his sire more
I also love Neck's sire, but you need to take into account that Ajax is 6 years old in that picture where as Neck is only just over 2 years old in his photo and only 3 years old now and still maturing (and very nicely I might add :)
As far as I know Lynn has imported the dogs (Sergio and Neck ) with the intention of helping to improve the show lines as well as working line GSDs in the UK.
I don't think Lynn is well enough to go careering all over the country to shows anymore, but having these dogs she feels that she is still putting something back into the breed.
Kindest regards,
Tracie.

If all of those dogs were black and red in color and went into the showring they would be at the front of the ratings. But with the "color" they are they are resigned to receiving a V rating at some local show and probably placed at rear of the V ratings. How shallow have we become as German Shepherd breeders when we can allow color to override quality??????

Gustav, totally agree, sad but true.
Tracie, couldn't agree more, hopefully breeders will utilize the quality of Lynn's dogs wisely it will be their loss if they don't. Oh! and Tracie, just a reminder about the photo updates, lol.
