If an event is being organised out with the KC why on earth should it be mentioned to them it has dam all to do with them so what is their problem

I can assure the Kennel Club and everyone genuinely interested in the future of our GSD breed here within Great Britain, of the following:
Our GSD breed has a great future, with numerous EVENTS organised "outside" of any Kennel Club involvement, covering ALL sports connected with our breed.
Under rules & regulations far more geared to the health and welfare of our GSD breed than is possible under KC rules & regulations.
The KC has moved from once being a 'Gentlemens Club' in Clarges Street to what can only be described as a 'boys' club' now. The former at least knew something about stockmanship, the latter knows more about "spin" & "prevarication"
The Kennel Club is certainly risking very serious and very costly consequences with its recent appalling behaviour towards our GSD breed and our GSD breed clubs.
Our GSD breed has a great future, with numerous EVENTS organised "outside" of any Kennel Club involvement, covering ALL sports connected with our breed.
Under rules & regulations far more geared to the health and welfare of our GSD breed than is possible under KC rules & regulations.

Dont know how many of you will have read the KC reply to the letter Clubs asked to be sent to the KC regarding the restrictive Item 9 in the Undertaking but as info for those who may not have seen it, I have typed the relevant part of it below. I cannot copy it for you as the KC saw fit to send it as a PDF file thus preventing the facility to duplicate by copy and paste.
After recieving the GSD Leagues letter to members which asked them to vote on Items a) or b) of their letter, I appear to have developed a preference for all Items b) ever since. This letter from the KC especially continues to enforce my latest development of this preferance. I will leave you to decide for yourself how comfortingly funny you find it.
Quote the KC letter below :-
"We are concerned to note that you are unhappy with Clause 9 of the Undertaking which states as follows:
'The Club confirms that it will act in good faith with the KC on all matters including confirmation that it will not, without the express permission of the KC, run any events under the rules or regulations of any organisation other than the KC'
This was, we believe justifiably, inserted in the light of the fact that at least one Kennel Club registered GSD Breed Club which enjoys the privilege of awarding KC CC's had, without even the courtesy of discussing this with the KC, already agreed to hold a regional show in the style of the SV.
You will be aware that the KC has a record of having worked in the past to accommodate breed clubs and lend its support to the British Sieger Show on a moderated basis, as well as approving Branches wishing to specialise in SV type training. This was done in conjunction with clubs working in good faith with the KC.
We would like therefore to understand why the Breed Council expects the KC to allocate its Challenge Certificates to Clubs which
a) are reluctant to act in good faith with it, or which
b) might wish to go off and work with another 'ruling body' without let or hindrance.
The Kennel Club's current position is that it appreciates that clubs may indeed wish to work with the SV or the WUSV but believes that in doing so unilaterally such clubs choose therefore to relinquish the privilege of benefitting from the Kennel Club's own top award - the KC Challenge Certaificate. In view of above comments we do not see any reason to extend the current 31st March deadline. "
WELL HALLELUJIA , at long last the penny has finally dropped (no pun intended Mo lol), and the KC finally admit we do have a right to work with the SV or WUSV without having to ask their permission to do so, exactly what I have been saying since the beginning and in direct opposition to what Jeeves (Andrew?) has been trying to frighten everyone with. So wrong again Andrew, the WUSV wont stop talking or working with us just because we prefer to run a WUSV Event without first running to ask permission of the KC or how did the KC put it :- b) might wish to go off and work with another 'ruling body' without Let or Hindrance',
YOU BET YOUR BOTTOM DOLLAR WE WOULD!!

God help us, these people are supposed to be a governing body!

Answere ;- the Chairman, Vice Chairmen & rest of the BAGSD Exec Committee Members OF COURSE (bar two) and considering BAGSD boasts being a WUSV Member Club, just how hillarious is that !!! Actually, it aint hillarious at all, its all things dispicable I can think of and the most disgusting, disgraceful example of two faced hypocracy I could describe. Its about time you handed the whole WUSV guantlet over to the GSD League now BAGSD's, if you DONT POSSESS THE WHEREWITHAL or COURAGE TO UPHOLD IT, YOU NO LONGER DESERVE IT !!!

Well said Sue B BAGSD do not deserve the WUSV status they currently hold and i hope that the WUSV stand by the one club per country rule now and kick BAGSD out.
