The Salztalblick lines - Page 2

Even though it does not really belong into this thread, I think there are lots of other workinglines with positive conformation. I have done extensive research on that since I am a true conformation person at heart and always will be. But I do love good looking workinglines. I would recommend to look at Stadtfeld dogs for conformation. That breeder has always looked for that. Yoschy von der Doellenwiese is another fine example, or Nick Heiligenboesch (careful with eye color, though). My V-rated workingline girl goes to Fax vom Tor zum Sauerland (Bandit van Gogh, Arek Stoffelblick) and on her sire's side to Yane vom Stadtfeld. I attribute her ability to produce conformation to these lines. The breeder vom alten Wingertshaus has some really nice dogs, too.
Another dog I like and now bred to his line, is Melano vom Cap Arkona, a Nick Heiligenboesch-son out of old Busecker Schloss foundation-lines.  I enjoyed this one Tiekerhook interview from your other thread in which the breeder states that conformation is and will be important to breeding good working dogs. Koos also mentioned that Busecker Schloss had a lot of influence on his kennel.

Real nice post...contrary to many beliefs I love good conformation also. I have a 13 month old male that is 5-5 Arek Stoffelblick, has Nick, has Sirk, Aly, all V rated dogs and his father is an all black V rated male. I am very pleased with his conformation at this point. I really value your posts about some of the better rayed workinglines in Germay. Keep them coming especially when you get new stuff.

Xeph, yes that was the reason for Paska's euthanization . It caused urine to leak to the inside. Willi Mueller had tried everything but to no avail. At the end, it was the humane thing to do. Very tragic!

it was a sad day. The gsd world lost a truley great dog.

Yeah Silbersee, I understood that he healed, broke it again, went septic, and was put down.

It truly is such a shame.  What a beautiful dog.  I wish I could find video of him working.  I've seen some of what he's put out and OMG GORGEOUS.

The mother of my dog is a Salztalblick female.  I could not be happier with his temperment, working ability and structure.

I have a Branco Daughter, her mother is a Paska daughter.. I'm more than happy with her.. She has natural talent especially in the Obedience phase with excellent speed.
also with good conformation - so I'm told.
