I have seen very few Black GSD's that are show worthy in my life, and i find that Ix vom Pascherkofel is one of the best i have seen so far.

The fact that they descend from the working lines, would affect their confomration, size & overall build, so they would have to make up for it somehow

Here is our male who is a true V-rated dog with substance and a wonderful presence and he has beat some showlines already as well, here in the U.S. and in Germany.
The photos were taken at the last show in North Carolina and it was pouring down rain, so you can't hide any flaws on a wet dog.
(Cynthia, Derek and Joyce, if you happen to read this - I hope you don't mind me posting these photos here on this board.)

Silbersee: Amazing gait on that dog in North Carolina. I love that gait. Superb
Margaret: In my opinion i actually do think that workingline have changed.
Using all of your information, posted on here, i have been finding some dogs, which i like. Below are them:
Faro Van Xazziam: I like him, and i think his conformation is good. His pigmentation looks good to me, but i think that hsi face is a bit feminine, and nees to be more masculine in my opinion. Overall i think he deserves that V rating.
Ix Vom PatscherKofel: I love his structure. One of the best structures & conformation i have seen in a Black GSD. His pigmentation is ok to me, but a bit light. Once again his face is too feminine too me, but that's my opinion.
Alex Von Der Schwarzen Seeperlen: Like his conformation as well. His pigmentation in some areas is nice & dark which i like, but in some other areas, is too light for my liking. His head & expression is one i love. It shows the seriousness & ability to work of a working dog, and also the masculine side. However it think that his neck is a bit wide, and too far out. But still deserves that V rating
Yoschy Vom Ketscher Wald: His conformation is alright to me, but his croup is too steep for my eyes. Also his topline, goes down a bit too much form the back. I also think judging from the picture, that he is a bit short. His head & expression is something that my eyes favour. It has the masculine expression that a male GSD should have, but also shows nobility & friendliness, which is a great temperemant.
Umsa Vom Sulzachgrund: A beautiful black Dam in my eyes. Amazing conformation & structure, and is the best structure i like too see in a female German Shepherd. her pigmentation is also dark throughout her coat, and is appealing to my eyes. her head shows the wokring, and courage of a GSD, but also the feminity that a female GSD should clearly show. My opinion is also that she deserves a VA3-VA4. my opinion though.
