No schutzhund clubs either within a couple hours driving distance?

I suggest that you contact a major exporter and talk to them. They will find a dog with all of your qualifications and export it to you.

I live on an island, I'm guessing they have clubs in the nearest mainland but that takes a long plane flight ;)

Well I guess that blows my idea out of the water! What kennels have you looked at on the net so far?

Breeders :
Imzedrifts
Talweg's (my favorite but the breeder is old fashoned and does not reply e-mails)
Dockits
Grámanns
Kirschental
But I always seem to find something about every kennel that doesn't make me go VOW, except Talweg's only problem is that he dosen't understand English and I don't speak Swedish and even if I can get someone to help me get into contact I want to be able to talk to my breeder and get help from him and that will always be a problem if I have to have an interptreter !
Like I said in my previous post, I want an experienced breeder that breeds good looking working dogs that can co-exist as a family pet .
I'm so bummed out that I can't seem to find that perfect breeder, for I refuse to lower my standards

I think the OP is trying to find a breeder in Europe which is where he/she resides.
Escobar: Talk about a small world! I was just speaking to someone who just recently got a Kirschental bitch puppy and he is very pleased with her. He is very experienced, so he knows what he is talking about. Sounds like she is a real firecracker too. If you like, I can ask him to get in touch with you via PM and he might be able to answer any questions you have about that excellent kennel. Just let me know!

Well I've looked at that kennel but I feel that they are going into a way too much of a bananaback lines...
Their dogs do not appeal to me, plus the will not put their dogs through quarintine .
I'm also thinking of getting a dog that's two years or older..
I don't want to import a dog that might not be of use to me .
