The photos don't show Ebor's approach and targeting which is when the helper dropped the sleeve low and then snatched it high just as Ebor was trying to launch. The Shellshots video may show the back half for Ebor and Ivan but so far nothing from the Shellshots video 2013 AWDF has surfaced and Ivan and Ebor were left off of the teaser with many of the back half protection performances if not all.  The low res video from Ivan shows the helper waving the sleeve up and down as Ebor tries to target but it is not crystal clear so a better quality video is needed.

John

Who claimed Ebor missed the bite entirely? The claim is that as Ebor approached the sleeve position changed and he did not have a chance to target properly, not that he didn't get a couple of teeth in the sleeve. Picture 24 clearly shows both the decoys feet off the ground, indicating he had jumped up. There are no pictures posted of the approach and the view of  the sleeve is blocked.

I gotta say, you guys are entertaining......

Right back at ya John. I've never seen so many people twisting themselves into knots trying to excuse one bad catch :-)

by zdog on 12 June 2013 - 19:06

There's definitely twisting going on here

Lets end this conspiracy, It,s time to call Mulder and Scully ! The truth is out there.

by Dobermannman on 13 June 2013 - 09:06

The truth is on the video and the screen shots. All people have to do is believe their own eyes and use a little common sense.
Unless the decoy can levitate? When you have a picture with both his feet off the ground, it's a pretty good bet he jumped.

And how many world class dogs have you and BooBoo caught in a national qualifier and do what you had to to try to give the dog a chance? I sure would like to see that video!

by Dobermannman on 13 June 2013 - 11:06

The same amount as you've caught Bob. but keep on playing keyboard cowboy instead of looking at and commenting on the actual video, screen shots or still pictures. You seem much more comfortable with one liners and snide remarks then with rational discussion :-(

If you had any sense at all, you'd know damn well why his feet were off the ground in that picture.  There is no rational discussion with you two because anybody who has done knows and has said so, from little old competitors right on up thru BSP helpers.  I bet helpers and judges and competitors alike cringe when they see you walk out on the field.
