Follow your ordinances, give appropriate care and attention, medical, nutritional, social and otherwise, to your animals...most importantly, have NO MORE than you have the resources to care for. For some individuals this may well mean NOT having a dog, so be it!!
Agree totally. My feelings exactly.
Dead on the money barkroz!
You summed it all up perfectly.
Would be interesting to know how many "breeders" and brokers are actually operating illegally in their geographic areas.
Also interesting to connect the dots and see which breeders deal back and forth with people like DM.

Kharma...aint it a bitch (pardon the pun). Suck it DM!

Yes, it was interesting to connect the dots. Very interesting.
Well, well, well, look who's at it again. I am hoping this time that the powers that be take the appropriate steps to stop DM once and for all. I was shocked that they didn't take away her breeding rights after she pled guilty to lacrency, and was allowed continued membership in the dog club-WDA. Obviously a slap on the wrist doesn't work, now look at these poor dogs. You all can say what you want about food, shelter etc. But 13 dogs should be in roomy, heated kennels WITH water! Isn't it the puppy mills that stack their dogs on top of eachother the shi* and piss all over one another??
What is it going to take to stop people like this? How many offenses does she have to commit before people stop making excuses for her. I am surprised at the "big name" breeder on here defending her, but I guess when you are making money off breeding to her, I mean to her dogs, that gives you reason enough.
Off for now,
Carter
How could anyone have any dealings with this person, other than to report her, knowing how those dogs were kept? It is a very sad side of the dog breeding world that some can turn a blind eye and even go further than that and make a profit from dogs they know to be *living* in such conditions, and not only NOT report it, but defend it. Of course, what you can never (usually) tell is how any person, big name or otherwise treats their own animals, or what they consider acceptable by their own standards.
If you keep your dogs properly you should be openly proud to show anyone how they live, without reservation. If you would hesitate or have any doubts, then something is wrong IMO.

If there is suspected animal abuse, it is the responsiblity of other breeders to go and see for themselves what is going on and act accordingly.
I personally think its about time someone made a formal complaint to the WDA--that way they will have to do something about it. The sad part is she is also a President of a schutzhund club. Shouldn't they have standards?? I would file a complaint myself but it has to be a member and I did not renew my membership.
