Epilepsy is a problem we thought was back in the 70's and to some degree left there. But some of the posts on this thread are chilling, and may have the same stigma as Aids, and pregnancy in unmarried mothers of the 50s and 60s, Karen and Alan have explained there situation and deserve our sympathy and applause for their courage, for their disclosure about their female, who suffered 3 fits. If as stated, the sire to this female, and other youngsters is responsible, this needs to be brought out int the open and sorted. Other breeders of this sires stock who have, or had the same problem need to come forward and share their situation. People need to know about these problems, it must not be swept under any carpet. People need to accept responsibility, and put things right.I would welcome a statement from the owner of the sire, to refute or accept these allegations. Bill Owen.

A statement Bill you're kidding-you are of course correct to ask for one, but i bet you don't get it.in my experience these people keep quiet hoping eventually it all goes away.

Pencil, you are right, an explenation is required, but silence is a double edged sword, both powerful and destructive. Bill Owen.

Maybe a list of all the Studs matings would be of  great help, at least then people could avoid those litters.
Mind you I think winning the lottery will come before you see such a list.
Even if the owners are SHY the KC would have a list-assuming they were all registered.

Woud be a good idea to get a public list of epileptic producers and fitters. No good asking KC, they are only good for taking our money!!
