I need your help. A year ago we rescued this handsome guy from the fields around our farm area. He is still intact and the Vet says he's about 3 years old. We call him Jack and he has learned to come to his name. He has basic obedience but is a little obstinate with a couple of commands. Jack is a really strong boy, and big now that we have got him back to healthy weight. As with any rescue like this, we don't know any history with him however, he is male-aggressive. Inside the house, he is a perfect gentleman. So far he has never lifted his leg anywhere but, of course, we don't give him control of the house. He would do best as a single dog, but as of right now, he's used to sharing time in rotation with our other dogs so he can be in either a run with protection or in a good-sized wire kennel as long as he has ample time for exercise. Again, he is male-aggressive. We are retired from breeding and showing. We are both retired from the workforce and have been trying to downsize our dogs but we couldn't let Jack freeze to death last year so here he is, still with us. I am pretty desperate to find him another home. I cannot keep him, no matter how pretty or good in the house. Please give us a call if you think you can be the home he needs.
